Plenty of better options

The only good reason to buy these is if youre biggest concern is simply the brand and having that red "b" on the side. Otherwise, there are plenty of better option.
The build quality is poor (which surprised me being Apple). You can get better quality with the surface headphones or the Sony 1000XM3.
These just so happened to be my first expierence with active noise cancellation so of course I thought they were great until I used noise cancellation on Surface headphones, Sony 1000XM3 and Bose QC35 all of which are literally 25X better.
The sound quality is flat and the base is almost nonexistent. There are literally 5-6 better options out there that are 10X better.

Not a good product. I got these head phones for my bday. The way they were designed to fold in order to store them away is flawed. It will cause damage to the unit over time. The right side cracked and I had to tape it together. The battery is poor quality. It doesn't charge all the way. These issues within a year of purchase. :( Now I'm back here looking for a different manufacturer. Might go with Sony this time around.

Good quality headphones, but questionable if worth the price. After 2 years and 1 month, the battery completely lost a charge rendering the headphones useless

The band cracked within a month of buying and there was also a clicking sound on one ear piece when noise cancellation is turned on, Apple support wouldn’t fix either

well About a year in the ear ups starting separating and now the headband just broke. It’s very disappointing coming from a 350$ pair of headphones. Sound quality was always just trash I don’t even know what some people are talking about “ sound is impressive” they literally sound like some off brand Walmart headphones. I beg you if all you care about is looks then buy these but if you want sound quality, and durability these are not for you. Keep in mind I’ve had these for 2 years. Buy some Bose, Sony ect.... just not beats

I read a lot of the reviews on here and was really hopeful for these. They are in direct competition with the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II. They lose on the inability to use them without a battery charge and having to update through the computer.
However the return is because in 90 minutes of listening, with an iPhone they cut out 4 times for 10-15 seconds at a time. My iPhone was either sitting directly in front of me on my table, or right behind my head charging behind me on a couch table.
Unacceptable.
I did double check and per the beats website they were up to date.

Broke inside 1 month!

Got these for christmas to use at the gym. Within 1 month the right earphone started making a static sound. These headphones are terrible for working out, as they hold and absorb sweat. Often my ears were soaked in sweat when wearing these, and even after whipping them down they start to stink. I sent them back to be repaired, and initially apple did not want to honor their warranty. They are currently being repaired, and I plan on selling them as soon as I get them back.

Never buy an open box item, even when it said “ex”

I’m pretty sure it’s just this singular pair… however just a couple uses in, never having listened even on full volume, they sound all busted and ruined on and off. I bought the open case in excellent working conditions, no problems with them only $10 dollars off from the unopened box, but they constantly go in and out and the noise control randomly doesn’t work as well. I am taking these back in.

Charging Sucks

When I first got them charging was fine but after a few times charging they wouldn't keep their charge and I would have a hard time even getting them to charge having to keep the cord a certain way. Now they won't take charge and aren't working. Probably will have to replace on own as the company would not work with me originally when the problem started. Ugh

These headphones are pure garbage. After 6-7 months the left ear went dead. Sound would still come through after tapping the earbud multiple times, and then at best it would be intermittent.
In addition, the headset piece broke in half when trying to put on. These headphones see no physical action (like the gym), they sit on my desk at work and that's it. I would not recommend these to anyone, ever.

Crap headphones, apple will not stand behind their product because they know it's complete garbage. They will break and then repairs will be as much as a new pair. Complete waste of money!!!! Had 2 pairs break. They are cheaply made and where your charger plugs in is where both of mine are failing. Can't charge them anymore. Apple said sorry. 400+ dollars for 2 paper weights!!!!
GARBAGE=APPLE

These headphones are $350 and they are uncomfortable. After about 20 minutes of wearing them my ears are sweating and hurt really bad ! Also, the sound quality is very very poor at lower volumes. I have Bose Soundsport wireless (earbuds) their sound quality is leaps and bounds better than beats. I do not recommend do not buy this product. TERRIBLE.

I received these as a gift for Christmas. Within using the first thirty days the plastic cracked on them. I went to the Apple store since they were still in warranty. Told I had to spend $200 to have them looked at to determine if they warranty would apply. Save your money and go buy something else. Anything else, just not these.

sound quality is just average, or poor, not for audiophile for sure. expected much more from such hyped up brand. they don't even stand close to Sony or Bose. For the price they want, it's a very poor value.
