The audio from these are amazing and I was hesitant on returning them, but in the end the build quality felt too cheap for the price. Feel like they wouldn’t last longer than a year without them breaking.

Almost perfect. The ear muffs part (sponge?) are dense when I receive it. I let it out for a day and still hasn’t bounced back to the right shape. I will exchange it. I guess it is because it from being folded together for long time?

Horrible. I returned them and switch to bose after 2 weeks of usage. Quality is not the same since Apple owns them.

No better than $39 headphones. You are paying for look and brand. Don't waste your time. You will be headed back for a refund! Trust me.

These Beats by Dr. Dre, are cheaply made and have an obvious design flaw. The plastic used to adjust the ear-cups are made with a very thin niece of plastic. They can and easily do break quite easily. Considering the costs for these particular headphones are typically between $250-$300, they stand up very poorly to routine use. If you do decide to buy these anyway, do NOT buy these without the Apple-Care or Best Buy warranty, that allows for full-replacement. The pair I bought my son snapped while he was simply taking them off. Made extremely cheap! Do yourself and buy yourself a $30 set, they’ll probably be made better.

The Beats Solo3 are good heaphones. The improvement in the sound isolation is noticeable. The price was right when I purchased them on sale around Christmas. I would gift a pair for a special occasion.

Returned these due to high pitch noise. Sales person said other people had also returned theirs. Definitely not the same quality as my first set.

I got them because I sweat a lot working out. They started screeching half way through my work out. Can’t find a pair that work for me.

These headphones are very attractive looking, but the sound not so much. These are really stylish headphones and the name Makes it appealing for the younger generation. Aside from that these are not the greatest sounding headphones for the price. For $350 msrp is ridiculous just to sound poorly. There’s many other headphones that sound exceeds the beats for a lot more cheaper. If you care about detailed sound quality I’d recommend some audio technica ath-m50x for 1/3 of the price or the Bose noise canceling headphones or the Sony 1000xM3. If you don’t care so much for sound but like the looks and the name of these I’d say get them.

I have had my old pair of beats for about 5 years now, and the battery on that just started not holding a charge for very long. Decided to upgrade to wireless beats since I've had such a great experience with them before. I've been an android user for about 7 years now, and these new headphones quality is not good on my phone. I used this on my Samsung galaxy s9+ & galaxy s20+ and both sounded horrible compared to my old beats. I use my headphones mainly for mowing and trips, and mowing outside was horrible with this new pair. I switched and used some chap earbuds. Will be going with Sony headphones instead.

DO NOT BUY - Has issue with plastic cracking

I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone purchase this product. I bought these in December 2019 when Best Buy ran a special on them for $180. They were great at first, pared easily with my mac. I used them primarily for watching movies without disturbing my wife. In all I maybe used them about a dozen times over the year. I began to notice that on both side of the head band between the hinge and the where the hear pieces attached it developed cracks in the plastic. Finally, the entire left side broke off entirely. Even though less than a year old and under Apple's limited warranty, it's considered "accidental damage" and Apple refuses to repair or replace the headphones. They will gladly fix or replace them for $299. I did a Google search "Dr. Dre Beats Studio 3 crack" and discovered this is actual a common occurrence with this specific headphone and has all the appearances of a design defect in the product. I've had a pair of wired Bose headphones for over five years and not once have I had an issue with them. Really wishing I had bought a pair of Bose wireless instead of the Studio 3 Beats. I have multiple Apple products and this is the first one I've ever had an issue with. Extremely disappointed that a high dollar pair of headphones would break so easily and Apple wouldn't stand behind their product.

Good sound, not as good as I thought. Got them at a good discount, not worth it at the full price. Also, feels cheaply made. I'm worried about them holding up over time.
