Comfort is another highlighted aspect, as users can wear them for extended periods without experiencing discomfort. The wireless feature eliminates the hassle of tangled cords, enhancing the overall user experience. 'Bulks' by Dre fall short for a number of reasons

I was really excited to purchase these on a Deal of the Day for $199 (vs $379) and even more excited to use them in the real-world…that is, until I started using them. After owning and loving the Bose SoundTrue Headphones Around-Ear for a while, I decided I wanted to go wireless. I really wanted to Bose QC35’s, but holy h*ll, they don’t go on-sale and are rather expensive! Between full price Beats and Bose, I would go with the Bose, however, I did not want to spend $349. Real world use entailed flight from Alaska > Seattle > Seoul > Da Nang > Bangkok…and back. Many, many hours to use in the fuselage of jets. Ok, the dirty on the Beats by Dr. Dre - Beats Studio Wireless Over-Ear Headphones - Unity Edition Red White Blue, MMHL2AM/A: • Comfort: These are not a true ‘over the ear’ headphone, they rest on the tops of your ears and become uncomfortable after short periods of use. Ears are not round Dre, they are oval'ish. • Heavy: These things are not light and they do not feel as solid as one would think they should, especially when factoring in the weight. • Bulky: ‘Bulks by Dre’ is more like it, not easy to store if space is an issue, like when on a jet or any other space limiting place. • Sound: Not great at all, especially for the price, even the sale price. Bass sounds ‘processed’ and not real. The treble also sounded poor and too bright. Most of the time I would be listening to Sade or Lana Del Rey, you know, music to chill and sleep to while on the plane. Experience with heavier music was the same, an overall tinny processed horrid sound experience. • Noise Cancellation: was alright, but could be a little better. Had to crank the volume to remove myself from the outside world. • Battery Life: I did not run into any issues. I would keep them charged, as my sanity on the trip depended on them not dying. I read a couple of FAQ’s and they all stated these headphones, with the supplied audio cable, will not work if the battery is dead. The Bose QC35’s will work if hard-wired and the battery is dead, just no active noise cancellation. After getting home I promptly returned the 'Bulks' and picked up the Bose QC35’s, paying the extra $150 (review coming – QC35’s are amazing!!!). Fun fact about the ‘Bulks by Dre’ – “someone” I was talking with told me Beats get returned all the time. I asked “this person” about the return rate on the Bose, answer…”never”. I know why too. I asked my nephew if he was interested in buying these at the sale price, he was not interested at all. I'm not sure what the right price is for me to have kept them...yes, yes I am actually, same result even at $100 or $50, returned and purchased something I would be completely happy with.

For being as expensive as they were they were coming apart at the inner ear muffs after 6 months. Then even having purchased the 2 year extended warranty Best Buy wouldn't exchange them because they claimed to no longer honor the warranty because the product had given them too many issues. Pathetic excuse and very unhappy elite member!

I bought these for my son for Christmas. Six month later, my son went to use them one morning and they just didn’t work. Wouldn’t power on. Tried everything suggested online by people with the same problem and nothing worked. Do not waste your money on overpriced garbage. This problem is quite extensive from what I found on numerous online forums.

I am a huge Apple Product(s) Fan. I am Truly disappointed in the Beats Studio 2 Wireless Headphones. I purchased these new from Best Buy 1-5-18. The construction at the bend/ fold simply popped, It was not negligence of care, nor were they dropped etc. So these pricey headphones endured only 2 years of "casual" usage. I am not sure if these headphones carry a manufactures warranty over one year, but I will certainly make this known in reviews.

    Waste of $350

I bought these in March for use at my desk at work. I have been very careful and put them in their case every evening. I found a small crack behind the earpiece last week. I contacted Apple which is the customer support for beats after speaking with them for approximately 30 minutes I found a manager who advised that she would take care of the problem and stated it would be free to me. She overnighted a box and I overnighted it back to them. After they received it they sent me a online message stating it would be $199 to fix that small piece of plastic. I contacted customer support again and they advised that they never promised anything. I am not spending $200 to repair something that is so flimsy it will break even in an office environment. Save your money and buy Bose.

The headphones are comfortable but have a loud hissing sound in the background. Antother downside to these headphones are that they stay on and use battery even when plugged in with the beats cord. The loud hiss from the noise cancellation distracts from your music. If you are watching a YouTube video or show the sound of this hiss will become very intolerable and make u want to just play it from your device itself. I strongly recomed the solo 2 wireless. There is no Hissing noise they fit very moderately around the ears and can be used for hours. They also are not using battery life when plugged in with the beats cord.

I purchased these in 2017. yes I know. 6 years ago. They get used 2-4 times a year at most on flights. I take good care of my things. The ear padding is just crumbling apart. Complete garbage. These were not inexpensive. I would expect them to last a lot longer. My Sony's are still going strong.

Should had read the reviews first. Overall it has good quality sound but if your using an android like I am it's horrible. So first, using the wireless connection on Android phones the volume sounds like it's only half way up and get no bass unless you hook up the headphones wired..... Kinda defeats the purpose of wireless. Second there is this really annoying white noise like static sound if you use the head phones to take a call. I understand that it's for noise canceling but there should be a option to turn off. Beats used to be a great company but since Apple bought them the only people they cater to is Apple people. I'll be returning these tom and picking up a bose headphones. More expensive but I'd rather actually hear what I want to listen to

Beats wireless Studio 2 sound good. That's to be expected from my past ownership of various models of Beats. I hated all the Solos because they hurt my ears after a short period. The same goes for the Studio 2's as well. If you plan on wearing them for more than 20 minutes at a time, find something else. I cannot make it thru a movie. Took them on a 6 hour car ride and ended up using the ear buds that came with my phone. I was happier with free ear buds over these. That says something about an expensive pair of headphones.

I am frustrated and outraged by my first purchase made by the best buy site I was in Orlando from November 22 to 30 and I bought 2 headphones and 2 hds through the site, I paid the extra value to be delivered until the 30th, but that did not happen, I'm in Brazil and the orders arrived today at the hotel where I was staying. I want to know how to cancel them, which already caused me a lot of stress. Hudson Costa

I was so excited when I made this purchase because I knew how good the quality of the music was through the headphones. They were perfect for my soccer season to listen to music before games. However, I was highly disappointed when just a few months after purchasing them and maybe only 3 times of using them, my headphones started having technical problems with the Bluetooth. They only work when I use the beats chord which defeats the purpose of why I bought WIRELESS beats. I would hope that my product was only one of few that have problems, nonetheless, I was still left disappointed especially with the high cost of the product.

If you like to use headphones for more than two hours, don’t buy this. My ears were hurting after only two hours of wear. Also the noise canceling is really bad. It distorted the sound, as it felt like I could hear static on the background. Also they were really hard to pair with my android phone. But I´ll admit, they paired quite easily with my iPad Pro. The quality of the music was average. I had been using Bose QuietConfort 35 and I expected a similar experience for the price. Also the quality of the headphones felt cheap, very plasticky. Do yourself a favor and skip these headphones if what you want is confort, quality of music sound, and noise canceling. If you only care for name brand then this will work for you. As for me, this headphones are going back to the store.

    Awesome Packaging, Unimpressive Quality

I've had a Bose headset for a couple years and then they stopped working so I decided to try something else and less expensive. I listened to the Beats Solo 2 Wireless at the store and they sounded very good, so I bought a pair of Beats Studio Wireless. I didn't listen to the Studio headset before purchasing since the display was down but I did listen to the Solo 2 (which seemed very good) and since reviews said the Studio sound quality was better, I purchased the Studio headset. I took them home and eagerly opened. The packaging is very very nice, lots of attention to detail down to a small carabiner souvenir. But after turning them on....I immediately noticed a background noise which sounds like the ocean when the adaptive noise cancellation is on and was distractingly persistant through music. If the sound quality is actually much better with the noise cancellation off, what's the point in this headset then? I expect much more from an Apple product (Beats is a subsidiary of Apple). Compared to the wired Bose I had, this headset is noisy. The Bose are VERY quiet without any music playing. So, I will be taking these back and spending a bit more for another Bose headset.

Received a broken pair from an online purchase. Just really irritated because they arrived right before my trip and didn't find out they were bad until I was on my flight needing comfy headphones. Hoping Best Buy exchange for a new pair when I can finally make it into the store.

I bought my first Beats headphone last year December to gave it to my son as bday presents. Bought a warranty. After 2 months it won't charge anymore. It's just that it died out. I went back after months because of my warranty they change to beats wireless headphone. I was thinking I would give second chance to this product. This time Best buy don't sell anymore warranty for Beats headphone beacause there's a lot of people returning it. I wish I should follow my instincts not to get this product again but behold I got another Beats wireless headphone and same thing happened after 2 months it quit charging. Can't return the product beacause it pass 15 days policy. That's sucks.

Decent sound, however the batteries have never delivered but half the stated play time. Sent back to Apple once during warranty period for bad batteries. Then the replacement pair stopped recharging shortly after warranty ran out. Dr Dre Beats headphones are overrated.

    Best Buy Christmas Fail

I got these for my son for Christmas. He opened them and the left side did not work. Went into the store on the day after Christmas- they said they can't replace- since a new model is out now. Can only get money back, but I got them on the Black Friday sale- so now I can NOT get them again from anyone else for the same price I paid. I should have brought from somewhere else that would have made it right when a Christmas present was received broken. If my son wants the thing he wanted most for Christmas- he will have to save up a few months so he an afford to buy some. Since they can not be bought at the Black Friday price anymore, he doesn't have a Christmas present. Thank you Best Buy. :(

I bought these on sale but will be returning them. They are bulky and didn't like them being over the ear. I did purchase the solo 3 headphones and couldn't be happier. These don't even last but 12 hours on a charge. The solo 3's last 40 hours on a charge!

Sound quality mainly a product of advertising as opposed to actual research and anyone who says different must be used to poor sound quality at the outset. Apple should be ashamed because they’re selling perceived status as opposed to something of quality. As an audiophile, I was disappointed in myself that I fell for the hype. I bought them to travel internationally and the premium headphones the airlines provide are superior. The noise canceling feature is subpar at best. Also, the cheap, pathetic clip used to attach it to a bag can open easily, making it an easy target for thieves and is a great way to lose it. I will never buy anything by this brand again.
