I own multiple Beats headphones, but really wanted the wireless bluetooth option. Although they sound every bit as good as my wired Studio's, the price is a bit steep. The sound is really good, with great bass, and exceptional battery life (they're rechargeable), the price might steer you audiophile's towards higher end brands. That being said, keep in mind these also offer phone features when connected via bluetooth. Since I also use them for communication when connected to my iPhone (Skype, FaceTime, and voice calls), it makes up for the high price.

I spend a lot of time researching headphones and I take in every aspect of each whether it may be good or bad. These headphones are pricey (of course) but if you have the money to pay for them, give them a chance. I have seen a lot of negative reviews on the beats website about these headphones but most people complain because they either don't know how to use the headphones properly, the hissing annoys them, or they complain about the sound being louder in the left ear. Fact 1: The headphones hiss (only when not playing music) because they are noise cancelling. If you can't accept that then don't buy them. Fact 2: The left ear does have a stronger output but not by much. Fact 3: Best Buy gives a one year warranty so if anything is wrong take the headphones to them. Fact 4: The headphones last up to 12 hours depending on how high your volume is. I have been able to play them at 75% volume for 8 hours straight on a 4 bar charge. Fact 5: If you are careless with these headphones they will reflect it. Now comparing these to the pros, the beats pro headphones have powerful bass as well as nice mids, are heavy, can withstand multiple drops on concrete, have daisy chain, are not wireless, do not need to be charged, expensive in my opinion. The beats studio wireless 2016 are the same in most aspects. They do have wireless capabilities which allow someone to be up to 30 feet away from the bluetooth device and still hear the music. the overall quality matches the pros but the bass is slightly stronger on the studios in my opinion. The studios are not nearly as heavy as the pros but the lack of protective material is the cause of that. Which leads me to saying the headphones are not very strong against drops. The wireless studios must be charged even if plugged in which makes sense due to the noise cancelling feature but since there is no way to turn that off (which does not make sense to me) the headphones will always use the battery. Based on the price the two are about the same depending on where you get them but based on original price the pros are more expensive. I could sit here all day and compare the wireless studios to every type of headphone on the market but I would rather not waste your time nor my own. I will say this though, the solo 3s are a match for the studios concerning the playtime, no need to be charged when using the cord, fast charge, lightweightness (if thats even a word), and ease of link with iPhone bluetooth, but alas these headphones have their drawbacks too. This is not an all encompassing review and I left out a lot of details about the packaging what comes in the box the comfort (which I recommend to tilt the headphones forward for longer use without displeasure), and style. If you want more information try to see what others have to say about the product, or test them out before you purchase. Either way I hope you find this helpful and enjoy the rest of your life!

I love the wireless capability and comfort of these headphones. Sound is very clear but I was a little disappointed in the bass... They practically have none! But if you are looking for some stylish headphones that require no hassle with wires that sound good, these are them! But very expensive... Price match Best Buy on Amazon and get the headphones for cheaper ;)

I love my new beat headphones, it has great sound and detail. The bluetooth works without getting dropped and the range is good too. Mic works well while in a call. The onlt cons I think are - a bit heavy and the ear size seems small for an over the ear headphone ( but still manageable)...

These beats by Dr. Dre are awesome. They have great sound and good quality. I just wish they weren't so expensive. Other than that I do recommend.

First of all, what an impressive sound. After that, the best thing is the design.

Great looking pair of headphones, but not by any means the best sounding on the market. You can get twice as good headphones for half the price, but may not be the best in terms of looks. Let me briefly go over the things I've come to love about them. The active noise canceling is astonishing, they don't seem like they're actively sending a noise canceling frequency and don't give a headache after 30 minutes of listening. They're very light weight and a great feel on the head and ears. But they are not bass heavy, which is what I love (unless adjusted by equalizer on your media device) and don't produce the most clear vocals or instrumental sound. I absolutely love the turtle shell case it comes with, I would have liked to see it a bit bigger, however, and a pouch inside for the AUX cord it comes with (even though I personally don't use it.) Overall, if you want an above average sounding pair of headphones, and want them to look great and feel great, and most importantly, prepared to spend the money for name brand... Then go for it.

Love the sound!! But I often have problems with the Bluetooth connection staying connected. I purchased an "Open box" item so I can't help to wonder, if someone brought and returned them because of a defect. Also the leather cushion of the headphones had some cosmetic defects, which I was willing to overlook. "Open box", discount, I guess you get what you pay for. Should have brought "New"!

Out of 5 stars: sound 4 1/2 comfort 4 1/2 Design 5 quality/"sturdiness"? 5 I loved the wireless feature and the controls on the actual headphones worked with my Samsung Note 4. I was not happy about them stop holding a charge a little after a year once the manufactures warranty was up. I have a friend with the red pair and his still works fine but then again I did use mine about 3xs more than he did.

The wireless feature is really good no problems the sound is bass heavy good for rap and r&b basically what i listen to

I love that it's wireless, so you can move freely & not have any wires getting caught up. Also the wireless microphone is helpful when talking on the phone. The only down side is that it was very hard to connect with my PC & I have yet to be able to use with my PS3 even though it's paired, it keeps on asking my for a Pass Key. I've entered 0000 & 1234, all I get is an error message. If I would be able to connect with the PS3 it would have gotten a 5 star rating.

I tried a similar model last year and compared the bass to their wired version. Hands down, the wired set takes the cake, but this set gives any "wired" gear a run for the money. I wish the battery life were a lot longer. My phone charge lasts longer. The size of the set should allow for larger battery capacity. In a perfect world. Whatever. The noise canceling feature is superb. The built in mic when on Bluetooth only mode sucks. It comes with a detachable mic and mini stereophonic plug which improve the conversation phone quality tremendously.

It met my expectations concerning noise suppressing. The only thing that I personally don't like is that it is very tight over my ears and I can't stand it for long time. Concerning the sound, it works perfect

Every single thing about this product is good,well to my expectations at least. Wish they had more black n red combination studio headphones which are very limited. Every thing else!! Thumbs up.....

Love my headphone the only compliant I have is the noise cancellation. when talking on the phone you can only activate before you turn the headset on. The headphone should come with it activated everytime you turn it on

The headphones are perfect. I use them anytime I go to the gym. They are perfect for motivating me. The only problem I've had is the Bluetooth on them disconnects sometimes but not a big deal.

It was exactly what I wanted. I had a different pair and I came back and traded them in for these. The staff was friendly and helped me get exactly what I needed. Thanks

I really like the look, I've got the gold pair. Got this on sale and used best buy rewards, but still pretty expensive. I bought it to use on planes because while I have noise cancelling bose earbuds, the wire gets caught in the blanket and after awhile, my ears get irritated from having something in them. Good sound, love that it's wireless and I can just hook it around my neck. It is not as noise cancelling as the bose and I think the bose headphones (both the over ear and the earbuds) produce a better sound. I've also had parrot zik and those headphones I felt were also more noise cancelling. I didn't like the zik because the top bar was really heavy and started hurting. These headphones have decent sound and I'm perfectly happy with them, but there are some better products if you don't want a wireless set. Pros: Fairly lightweight, look awesome, good sound and fantastic convenience of wireless with good battery life. Cons: Better noise cancelling and sound with other headsets, but those usually are wired. I would buy this again.

Love the new, updated design and color (especially this Metallic Sky color). Cool battery indicator, on-ear-controls, soft ear pads... Extremely light and comfortable, even more so than the Beats Pro, but in the end, the music quality wins on the Beats Pro. The Pro had better bass, sounded richer/fuller, and let me hear parts of songs that were not as easy to hear (if at all) on these. Decided to return these, and keep the Pro's. If they ever update the Pro's to have the same ergonomics and design as this, THAT would be almost perfect...
