Many appreciate the long battery life and sleek design, although some find the price to be high. A few users mentioned issues with the headband's durability and desired higher volume levels. Very good sound quality,

The sound quality is exellent and the Bluetooth works great! I also like the fact that the unit can also be plugged in. Very easily adjustable to fit perfectly. The sound quality is very good as it should be for a high- end unit and the controls on the right earpiece are very easy to use.

Great headphones but Bluetooth not that great!

I bought these headphones after reading reviews about how wonderful they were. I took them out of the box and listened to them off my iPhone and Kindle Fire to see if they were worthy. I was very disappointed at first as with the name "Beats" I expected them to blow me away. The Bluetooth has its issues. When plugged in they sound amazing like they should but not as good with Bluetooth. Also, the Bluetooth cuts in and out sometime. I really like how comfortable and cool they look though so after playing with them for a few days, I liked them! Give or take with me.

Beats By Dr. Dre Wireless Bluetooth

First the controls: The controls are easy to use, takes a couple days to rememeber the location of the buttons. The easiest to remeber is the Play/Pause button. Forward/Backward buttons are not as easy to use as the +/- volume buttons. Sound: The Beats By Dr. Dre Wireless Bluetooth have to be the best sounding pair of bluetooth headphones I've ever heard. The Bass is deep and clear. Previously I was a Bose headphones user. Not any longer. Connected to my iPhone, iMac, iPad & Samsung Note seamlessly. Negatives/Area for Improvement/Wish List: First, I wish there was an app for iPhone/Android to control the EQ. Although out of the box it is going to be GREAT for the average consumer. Second, I wish the ear pieces pivoted like on the Beats Pro.

It just makes sense because I can take it with me every where. I can listen to music, phone calls, and watch movies with good sound. And it makes so much sense for the gym... When working out you don't have to worry about wires getting in ur way and also u can keep the phone in ur pocket and not have to worry about picking ur phone back up if u put it down. Great quality sound as well. Def recommend to all!!!

    Awesome sound

I use these in a factory and the sound is outstanding. I love the bluetooth feature as it lets me leave my Android phone plugged in as to not drain the battery. The only drawback is that with the heat in the factory, the headphones become a little uncomfortable, but that's a minor problem. Everything else about this product is outstanding.

Great pair of headphones, box comes loaded with amazing accessories. Only bluetooth headphones I know of that can be plugged in normally when the battery dies, or when you want to get the best sound quality possible Ignore those that say they aren't durable, if you take good care of your stuff then you wont have any problems.

    Wireless is nice

I love the fact that you can use it connected via bluetooth but also use a cable if they are not charged. They also cancel a lot of noise for not being noise canceling. It could have a little more base - I will need to compare it to the other models again to see if they have more.

Like the bluetooth feature, But the sound isn't as loud as when you have wire connected. When wire is connected sound is great. But overall the wireless sound really depends on quality of music you have uploaded to your iPhone or iPhone 4th gen. I would recommend it for those that hate wires like me.

I love how these do come with an aux cord. If I plug the cord in it doesn't use up the battery...very convenient for when you don't want to use the Bluetooth. The sound is awesome and the controls on the side are great too. I tell everyone about these when ever I get the chance. These have definitely been worth the money! Thanks Dr. Dre!

Sound quality is better on STUDIOs and PROs, but this is better then the SOLOs. So if you are looking for sound quality pay $30 more and get the STUDIOs, if you are looking for wireless feature, this is a great choice.

    WOW!!!! Great product!!!

I purchased these (along with the geek squad protection plan, I would definitely recommend getting that as well) in Feb of 2012. I used them primarily at the gym during workouts, as well as sitting by the pool or coffee shops. Aside from just a few minor tech issues, I wouldn't want any other set of headphones. It is an electronic device, so it is going to have a hick-up or 2 now and then, but the other great qualities make up for it. I could leave my iphone next to a machine at the gym and walk across to the water fountain, and it still stayed connected playing my music. The ability to answer a call and talk without touching my phone itself is a great feature, and then the call is done and right back to music. I did lose my USB-cord and the one I began to use didn't seem to charge it up as well, and then it just wouldn't charge. Thanks to the protection plan, they were just replaced (with the new white/red pair that is now out). I have had them for a few weeks and they are just as amazing as the initial pair. Even though I had to trade them in, that is why I bought the plan, for those just in case issues, the customer service provided by best buy even 2 days after Christmas with a packed store, I was in and out with my new phones and jamming to the tunes after a one hour charge. Hope you find my info helpful, and enjoy your music!!!!!

Great sound but a little pricey

I love these headphones and wouldn't trade them for the world. I even bought the BOSE QC-15's and didn't like them as much as these. The BOSE serve a different purpose. These headphones are great. It seems that they have fixed the battery issue that they had in earlier models also. Some of the earlier models wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few days. I can leave these for a week or more and they still have a charge. The only bad thing I can say about the headphones is the price and after a period of time they seem to develop a creak in the earpieces. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON ALL PRODUCTS LIKE THIS (JUST IN CASE, YA NEVER KNOW!!!, and BEST BUY SEEMS TO BE GOOD ABOUT REPLACING THEM)

    Great bluetooth headphones

You would expect that bluetooth headphone sound quality to be worse. This is not the case at all. Great overall sound quality but it is a bit heavy on the bass. Comes with 3.5 plugs so if you end up running out of batteries or forgot the charge the headphones they can still work. Recommend these for anyone who wants to enjoy their music and videos without the hassle of wires (unless you forgot to charge it). Not recommended for anyone who does heavy activities such as running. If you do i recommend going with the beats by dre - powerbeats!

If your looking for loudness, def pass on these

So after I finally managed to get me a hand on wireless head phones, with in 10 secs, I was extremly disappointed. I read all these reviews how the sound quality is this and that, I'm thinking it's outta this world. I was also under the impression from word of mouth that the these headphones, the music is really loud (something I need in headphones while im working out#. At it's max volume on the headset and on my Iphone, if I talk loud enough, I can hear myself speaking. $300 headphones # i mean its over $300 with the xtra 2 yr warrenty, u have to get it, god forbid it brakes down) but over $300 for this???? NO WAY!!!!! Luck for me, I used $300 in best buy gift certificates, so I practically paid nothing for mine. The $19.99 Skullcandy in ear that I still have, is 5x's louder than Dr. Beats. So those are the bad, these are the good. Extreamly comfortable, no wires, and bluetooth, espically when talking on the phone. If you can, pass on these way too much expensive headphones

Can not live or work without my beats

Well worth the money, I also have a pair of studios with the wire and I really can't find a set of headphones that would be even close in the quality of sound area. These things are amazing and if you ever have a problem with them, the manufacture has the best customer service. They send you new ones and ask that you send the old ones back after you get the new ones in a prepaid shipping box. Fricking flawless. Best headphones out. Oh and the problem I had was the earphones got some metal shavings in them from wearing them in the manufacturing area at work and caused them to buzz a little. Replaced with no fuss.

    Beats over Bose Wireless

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I was on the fence to which wireless headphone I wanted to purchase. It was Bose versus Beats. I'm loyal to Bose but their wireless headphones were very bulky and not very fashionable/sporty. Then I saw these Beats for just $30 more and had to go with them. My son has the Beats Solo and Mixers and these are the same as the Solos. You won't be disappointed if you decide to take the plunge.

So far I LOVE these. We are in the 21st century and it always amazed me they they haven't perfected wireless over-ear headphones. This is a great start so far. The sound is pretty awesome especially with Rap and Hip-Hop. One of the best things about these are the fact that when the bluetooth runs of out of battery, you can connect it with the included wire and use them like regular headphones. I would also suggest getting the extended black tie protection from Best Buy. No matter what happens, you are covered for 2 years and can take them to any Best Buy and get a replacement. Go check these out folks!

I just got these for the gym and for work. They are great very crisp bass and sound. I am a Bose believer but these beats sound better than the Bose. I really am glad I bought them. I saw them online before Christmas and was just waiting for them to come out.

I have now synced the headphones to my Samsung Galaxy Note, Asus Transformer Prime, Imac, Motoactv Watch, it all works perfectly. The sound is absolutely perfect. I can walk across my house and still pick up the bluetooth signal. The sound quality is perfect when I use it with my phone for a bluetooth headset. Do not hesitate buy it right away.

I am impressed. These are an awesome start to a new generation of headphones. They sound great, and I don't get tangled in the wires when I move around. The only problems I have experienced so far are the fact that the sound is a little scratchy at full volume. Also they can feel a little tight and uncomfortable every now and then. I do love how you can use them as wired headphones too. Definitely worth my money.
