Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the excellent sound quality, wireless convenience, and comfortable fit of the Beats Wireless On-Ear Headphones. Many appreciate the long battery life and sleek design, although some find the price to be high. A few users mentioned issues with the headband's durability and desired higher volume levels. Overall, the positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the negative comments regarding price and volume.

Bought these and loved the sound quality. After having them about 4 months the band broke in half where the seam is located above the logo on the headband. It is a very weak point in the headband. I am a female and have a very small head. I was very careful not to pull them apart really wide while taking them on and off. I only used these about 4 to 5 days a week while running and returned them to the case after. Called the manufacturer and they pretty much said "too bad". Worst customer service I have ever had. I will never own anything else with this brand. I will buy a more well constructed pair. I don't mind paying for expensive headphones but expect far more quality than I received. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Sound is great. Good bass not too overpowering. The wireless range is pretty good. Not very comfortable after 2hrs of wearing it and gets hot and hurts because of this no matter how good the headphone is cant use it for an extended period of time.

    Best Bluetooth Headphone

Beats Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones maybe one of or the best in the market at present time but it is not there yet for what I want for my Headphones. For the price you pay, it doesn't stand par with it. It is hard on my ears. If I wear it for longer time, my ears start hurting. It is too tight on me. Bottom line, if you can afford the price, this is the best in the market but it is still lacking what I want from my headphone.

These bluetooth headphones have set the standard for the other bluetooth earphones on the market. Dare I say that I've been spoiled. the sound quality from the bluetooths are better than the best quality headphones manufacturers make. Needless to say. I like them a lot.

    Bluetooth is solid

My last beats , Beats Solo , snapped. Even though Monster said they've fixed the issue , it seems to me that it's the same material and style so i don't know about that and i got the insurance for it, but i do know that the wireless bluetooth part of it is pretty good. It only cuts off when there is another bluetooth device on or there's a lot of Wifi stuff (one way i found out it works flawlessly is when i shut off the wifi on my iPod), other than that, it's function is solid. I'm REAL picky about sound and I will let yall know that the bluetooth sound quality is okay , but at the same time, i haven't heard these with the cord. The bass response is nice , but highs and meds are "eh" compared to the klipsch or bose. The fact that it's wireless brings it over the top for me though. Lil' pricey but it's worth it if you need wireless

I'm gonna exchange it and see if the problem persist. Music plays just fine. The problem is with movies. The audio delays a slit second after the video. The lower the battery the greater delay. I've used other Bluetooth devices with my iPhone and iPad and there hasn't been any lag. Maybe I'm a little annoyed so I wrote this post. But the other Bluetooth devices were all connect to an ac adapter. Maybe the combination for high quality sound and the convenience of a wireless battery could soon be perfected. For quality and comfort I recommend the monster DNA. I just wish monster made those wireless

    BUYER BEWARE

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a pair of Beats Wireless Headphones on 2/16/2012 from the San Francisco Apple Store, upon recommendation from one of their sales associates. See, I've had trouble in the past with wired models as inevitably one of the speakers would cease to work due to a short. As the Beats Wireless Headphones do not feature a prominent cord and, due to the Apple Representative's recommendation, I took the plunge. Additionally, I was assured by the Apple Rep that the headphones had a year long warranty with the manufacturer. The headphones cost roughly $300 once tax was added in, FYI. Expensive for sure but with such a high cost comes a reasonable expectation of quality workmanship and quality materials. Since purchasing the headphones, I have used them primarily on my commute to and from work at Stanford University with the main action of putting the headphones onto my head via the following: pull Beats headphones out of protective carrying case, unfold the headphones, place them onto my head. On 8/4/2012, I went to put the Beats on and as I was lowering them onto my head, the top portion of the headband snapped at a point where screws are placed on the unit (located on the underside of the unit's plastic headband). I was and am shocked that they broke from such a simple action. I immediately contacted Beats Customer Service to complain and seek repair. I described the situation to their agent and she told me to send them in. That Monday, I went to the post office and sent my unit along with all original materials, including original packaging, back to Beats for repair on my own dollar. They received my headphones on Wednesday, 8/8/2012. This morning, 8/10/2012, I have an email from Beats stating that repair and/or replacement has been declined on my order (#367599). The stated reason that the company provided me was as follows: Damage Beyond Reasonable Use. Once seeing this email, I called Beats Customer Service once more only to be told that such damage is considered, again, "damage beyond reasonable use." The representative I dealt with inferred that this type of damage is never repaired and I'm left wondering why they requested me to send them in for repair in the first place. I fully explained the damage to the first Beats representative I spoke to when it was initially damaged and never once did she give me the impression that my headphones would not be fixed or replaced. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of support or care for their customers. I've not had the headphones for even a full year and they are broken after general use. I'm surprised to hear that placing the headphones on and off of my head is considered "beyond reasonable use." I am shocked that they would not even offer to replace just the plastic portion that broke. As a result, I AM ALERTING ALL OF MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND COWORKERS TO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. Additionally, I'm leaving this comment on this website/forum so that others may be aware. For a product that has a current list price of $279, they really are not worth the price. I now have a $300 paperweight and am left with an extremely NEGATIVE experience. I wonder, is Dr. Dre aware that the company that features his name produces such shoddy headphones and has such poor customer service?

My beats were great until a year after which is right now and they broke. I first want to say how much I loved my beats, they have THE best sound I ever heard on headphones for its price, batteries are great, I only had to charge it like five times this year (no kidding). Now the bad is that after one year one of the pins that hold the speaker broke on a plastic part that holds it. I always been careful with them but they broke. PLEASE people, DO NOT waste your money! Bose is way better quality than this. They might not look as good but they last way longer.

Got a pair for Xmas and loved them until one day they refused to power on. So I'm forced to use the cables (perhaps the manufacturer foresaw this happening at some point) because my local best buy stores are sold out. I guess I'll have to ship them back or go out of my way to find them in another store further away. Either way, I better do something soon as best buy's holiday deadline for returns is fast approaching on the 24th. Just unsure if this is an inherent problem and whether the new set will result in a similar issue.

    Nightmare!!

I would just like to say that i am completely apalled with Beats by Dre. FIrst problem: I spoke with a woman named Sylvia about headphone replacements for one of the two beats wireless headphones i purchased at best buy. Not only was she rude to me the entire conversation, but she said "well why don't you post that on facebook or twitter" when i told her it was unacceptable that i would have to wait over 4 weeks for a pair of $300 headphones to return after they had broken in just one month. This is not a way to run a business and it is absolutely awful that their employees are allowed to speak this way. She said it wasn't the hers or the company's fault.. really? it isn't the company's fault that they are shortstaffed and don't prioritize defective merchandise? Second: It should not be ok for these headphones to break after just over a month. I used them on two flights. That's right, I have used these headphones twice, and they have somehow shorted out or were just defective, because they won't turn on and no buttons work, even after i charge them. The charge light comes on but the buttons don't work at all, and the right speaker goes in and out. Obviously they care about getting the product off the shelves by advertising them and claiming how amazing they are, but they can't back their own word and product through actions? I will never be buying from them or any company that uses their products (ie HP) again, not only because their customer service is absolutely atrocious but because their product is trash, will never hold up for a frequent user, and is just as cheap as the next thing.
