After about 4 months of buying this earbuds it loss the sound out of one speaker so I got it replaced. After about 6 months the replacement have the exact same problem in the same side, and I get it replaced again, now 5 months after that (and 3 months out of warranty) I got the same problem. 3 different earbuds (and yes, I check the serial number of each earbuds and I received different replacements, it wasn't the same earbuds "fixed") and each of them ended having the same problem.

Best Wireless Headphones currently on the market

The BeatsX Earphones are by far the best wireless in ear headphones on the market right now. Clear crisp sound, with some added base you do not get with any other brand. I tried Bose and Sony and their different versions, and the Beats passes them in sound quality, levels and clarity. And they also make great earphones for taking calls as well as the integrated phone mic which I have never heard a complaint from anyone on the other end about the qualtiy or level of my voice talking back to them. I still have my older Beats Tour wired headphones as wired has always been a better sound, and these are now getting more use than the wired ones as they match very well. Light and easy to wear as the cable lays on your neck, with easy controls to reach, find and use. And the battery lasts almost all day with constant use. Highly Recommended and a great value on sale for $99 as I got mine or regular price.

Beats X are solid, well built headphones that make it easy to go wireless. Sound quality is good, but not amazing. They’re comfortable and can be worn all day. They charge quickly and have a lot of ear piece options for a good fit. My only complaints are price and the cable length. I got them on sale for $100, which feels right, but MSRP at $150 seems high. I also wish the cable was shorter. It’s not really a problem, but seems excessively long and looks kind of weird sometimes. No regrets on this purchase.

    Great Earphones

I must start saying, I've owned several headphones/earphones, and was weary of the Beats brand due to previous issues with some of their products. I myself owned the Beats Pro's when they were still Monster, while good they weren't the most comfortable and ended up being outclassed, in my opinion, by several cheaper models from other manufacturers. My daily headphones for ~1.5+ years have been some V-Moda M-100s that I absolutely love! While they will still be my go-to headphone for long trips, flights, and long listening while working from home, I must say the BeatsX will be taking over most of the time. I never realized how nice wireless would be, and let me tell you they deliver. Setup with my iPhone, and Macs was dead simple, the W1 chip made it a breeze and once setup on one device it's selectable on all of them via iCloud, now that is cool! The thing I didn't realize was how nice the Fast Fuel is for use, my job requires me to be on several hour long conference calls with regularity, so as soon as one of those wraps up a quick 5-10 minutes on the charger and I'm good to go for the rest of my shift! I could see this being super useful when traveling, if you have 5 minutes before a flight you'd be ready to listen for most of the flight! Now the convenience is big, but how do they sound? Honestly, great, I was pretty impressed, I always compare to my first decent earphones the Klipsch Image S4 which had a pretty good sound signature, if not a bit bass heavy. These remind me of that, but with better bass, highs aren't exaggerated which is great because you don't get ear fatigue or pain from sibilance that I sometimes get with my Klipsch X7i's. They seem to handle a wide variety of music well, I like hard rock, classic rock, and the latest EDM, pop, hip-hop. I haven't tried anything like classical, but I imagine it wouldn't be a bad experience here! Noise isolation is another big point, these might not be great for cycling or jogging due to their ability to buffer outside sounds, I can't hear someone talking to me from 4ft away if my music is at about half volume. There is a bit of microphonics in these earphones I think due to the weight of the battery assembly hanging around the back of your neck. With music on the microphonics are minimal and don't bother me, your mileage may vary. Fit is great with a variety of provided earbuds, including some wings to help hook into your ears, the default buds installed in the box seem to be the best fit for me so far. I really enjoy these, a lot more than I expected, I bought them thinking, well if I don't like them I'll simply return and wait for the AirPods to become more widely available. Well I can't say I will be doing that at all, I really like them, a lot! Also it comes with 29.97 USD in credit to use on iTunes, or for 3 months of Apple Music, as someone heavily invested in the ecosystem and an existing subscriber this was like a 30 dollar discount right out of the box!

I was slightly skeptical (and frankly, a bit worried) with how much of a commitment I was going to be making with dishing out $149 dollars on a pair of wireless headphones like these BeatsX. Having previously owned a pair of Beats EP's for something over a month before eventually deciding to return them, I questioned whether or not I was making the right decision in trading down for something else in size, at a slightly higher price (I bought the EP's at $129, as you know, BeatsX's retail for $149), and potentially be much more apt to loss, theft or reduced time of functionality (BeatsX earphones run on re-chargeable integrated batteries, EP's are plug-in). Boy was I wrong. Having used them for more than a month, now almost two months, the earphones show off as a great example to quantify that sound quality does not have to plummet if what you seek is portability and efficiency, and yet be able to provide you with seamless connectivity. I understand the asking price may be a bit difficult for some, and I can totally see where you're coming from. Though, if what you seek is great sound, paired with incredibly smooth connectivity, and peace of mind with magnetized earphones to prevent loss (they hang around your neck, with nice length, and magnetize together at each end), then these are the earphones for you. Rest assured, you won't go wrong.

They hold a charge for a long period of time and are great for regular workouts. I love the in ear Bluetooth rather than the over the ear "Princess Leia" style ones... great sound quality, and comfortable! Only wish they were a little but louder. Otherwise worth the money!!!

    Great wireless earphones (for iPhone)

Beats are tuned to be bass heavy. That is a fact and these are no different. In terms of sound quality, I am comparing them to a Bose QC 20 noise canceling earphone and the Beats X sound better (both are bass heavy), are lighter and easier to pair. Plus, using the iPhone Control Center I can see the current battery level. What makes these a very good value for money to me: 1. Good sound quality (assuming one likes bass) 2. Super convenient pairing and connection with iPhone or Apple Watch. Amazed at how fast and stable the connection is. 3. Two little magnets hold the ear pods in place when not in use. This is a nice usability touch and lets me use these earphones all day at work with no issues. 4. The fast charging is excellent. 5 minutes gives you 1 hour of listening and 45 mins give you 8 hours! 5. The microphone is effective in noisy environments. At $99, I believe these are the very best earphones you can get. I have so many - from Bose (multiple), B&O and Beats (X and Studio Wireless) and the X is now my go-to earphone.

I have pretty much hated my iPhone 7 since I got it. I was annoyed about the lack of traditional headphone jack. It had taken me years to find just the right earbuds and now I had to go and find wireless ones. My problem was compounded by that fact that I am innately cheap. I couldn’t make myself pay $150 for earbuds so I bought a bunch of $20 ones that were horrible. Then last week I was on the @bestbuy website and saw these @beatsbydre on sale for $99 I also happen to have $80 worth of bonus money (because I buy too much stuff from Best Buy) so I basically got $150 earbuds for $23. Yay me. After wearing them pretty much non stop for a week I can 100% say I would totally pay full price for them if I had to do it over again. They are killer. The sound is stellar, the noise cancellation is legit, they are comfortable in my ear, they charge fully in 45 min and hold the charge for the whole day. So great! If you’re in need of wireless earbuds you should buy these. Don’t be cheap like me. They are totally worth the cost.

These things are awesome, they fit good and have great noise canceling to them , Bluetooth works great and the charge is fair. I bought these before and some one jacked me so this is my second set. I use them while working out, riding the motorcycle, playing drums to music and while I’m welding.

Beatsx are not bass heavy like typical beats, they sound 100 percent better while still maintaining a strong punchy bass. Battery life is all, if not more then what’s advertised. Very comfortable and great for the price.

Favorite Pair of Headphones I’ve Bought

I’ve purchased a lot of different headphones over the years, and these are hands down my favorite so far. The convenience of not being tethered to your device by a connect cord is so relieving, knowing your not going to get caught on something as you walk by, or something of the sort. The only complaint I have about these headphones is the volume isn’t quite as loud as I’d like it to be, but the sound quality itself makes up for the lack of volume. The battery life is amazing, and the overall experience of pairing them with iOS and macOS devices is a breeze. If you’re at all invested in the Apple ecosystem, these headphones are a great addition to your fleet.

As with most things, there are good and bad things about the BeatsX. Pros: 1. Great price at Best Buy. 2. Great sound isolation 3. Pretty good sound 4. Charges quickly and the battery lasts longer than most BT headphones. I also like that I can use the same lightning cable. 5. Reasonably compact and easy to stuff, once you know how 6. Amazing distance. I can go a really long way, past many doors/walls and get perfect sound with no drops or static. 7. Pairs easily enough. I really like on iOS I can simply choose the audio output from the Control Center, rather than having to deal with the BT settings. Hopefully, this doesn't change in iOS 11. Cons: 1. No power on sound. You only get an audio confirmation when paired. Sometimes you're wondering if you really turned it on, if it doesn't connect automatically. 2. Generally, wants to connect to the last device (I have 3). If the last device isn't on, then you have to manually choose. 3. My cheaper BT earphones can connect to two devices at the same time. This is useful if I'm watching a video on my laptop and a call comes through on my phone. It would automatically switch for me. BeatsX doesn't. 4. I wish the mic would turn off when muted. No one can hear you, but the microphonics can be annoying. 5. Hanging up a call by pressing the center button, doesn't always work the first time. I find I have to hold the button down for a second, I can't just quickly tap it. 6. Not specifically water resistant, although many cheaper options are. Makes me nervous. Despite all that, I think I'd still buy again. They're generally small annoyances that I can live with. It's the battery that I probably like the most though.

Very Surprised for a Beats Product

I finally got my hands on these and have to say that I was very surprised by the sound signature. Based on my past experience with Beats, I find that the sound on them was horrible and one sided. Heavily bass-centric and good for bass heavy music. When I put them on, I was shocked how balanced they were. The bass is not overbearing and enhances the music. Works well with a lot of different genres. I like how responsive the inline control was and the W1 chip made it simple to connect via bluetooth. Since I am an iPhone user, I always have a lightning cable around to charge it up. Now onto the cons. I did not like the case that it came with. The cable is too long and big that it is a bit of a struggle to put them in. Maybe if the case was made of a different material, these headphones would slide in easier. I did not like the 2 little pods that rest on your shoulders and how long the cable is. If you are a runner, this might bother you as they will bounce up and down and I can see how it could hit you in the face when running. If you are just using them to walk around or sit and listen to music, then they would be great. But they can get in the way when working out with them. I ended up returning them and keeping the Apple AirPods due to the convenience and being totally wireless all packaged in a charging case.

bought these after reading many reviews. Not disappointed. At first try I thought they sounded a bit thin, wondered why I spent the money. But its critical that you pick the right ear pieces and in my case, use the larger wings included. This keeps them in my ear securely, and the sound is wonderful, to my non-audophile ears. I use them primarily in my noisy old Ford Ranger to listen to audiobooks on the way to work and back, and some video in the evening, about 3-4 hours a day. They block enough noise to hear very well, while still allowing me to hear enough of whats around me. My wife says she can hear me just fine when I'm in the truck and give her a call. Music to me sounds very bright and clear, with a nice amount of bass. I was torn between buying these and the apple airpods, and I'm glad I went with these, because they sound much better than the wired earpods, and all reviews say the airpods sound the same as earpods. Some earbuds give me a feeling of pressure on the ears, and become uncomfortable to listen for any length of time. The BeatsX do not give this feeling. They are very comfortable in the ears. Battery lasts a good long time, usually charge every other day with my daily use of about 3-4 hours. Controls inline are the same as on the apple airpods, very convenient for volume, skipping songs, summoning Siri. If I had to point out a fault, its the power button. Wish they'd placed it on the larger flat surface instead of the edge of the 'battery bulge'. Its a bit awkward.

The X are a surprisingly loud decent set of headphones with excellent battery life that pair with my iPhone 7 effortlessly. They also recharge very quickly and stay in ear even while jogging. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a durable set of headphones that won't break the bank. Cons: - They aren't water resistant or waterproof. - Mic picks up the slightest wind noise while on a call.

Best Beats product I have used. Still bass strong, but it doesn’t dominate the sound the way other Beats earphones have. Mids sound accurate, highs can be slightly tinny-sounding. Earphones themselves are very comfortable to wear (I do use the ear fins for security), the longer silicone part of the strap sits perfectly on my neck—it has not been bothersome in the least. For the price I think Jaybird earphones have slightly better sound. For Apple users, the connectivity is game-changing!

They come with different size ear tips. They are comfortable for running and working out. Good sound quality. I sometimes use them to talk and haven’t had a problem with the other person not being able to hear me. It has really good isolation which for talking makes it uncomfortable, but good for listening to music and also has good charge. Charges with the lightning cable, very convenient
