Apple bought beats so now they work with a regular apple lighting charger. They are no longer available to be covered under the extra geek squad warranty though so that sucks because wearable electronics ALWAYS fail within the 1st year in my experience. Apple doesn’t play ball with others though. So that is the reason for four out of five stars. That and none of the different sized ear buds fit me very well - they start to fall out over a few minutes ruquiring me to push them back into my ears. Great sound though. Lots of bass for such little buds. I can get my motorcycle helmet on and off without pulling them out which is great.

Full disclosure, I got these on sale at Best Buy for $50 off, so only paid $99 vs $149. That said I like them enough that I would pay $149 if I had to buy them again. Fit is excellent, battery life also excellent for the genre. Pairing is a breeze, I use the with my iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and MacBook Pro. Sound is very good, not excellent, but I like them far better than the Jaybird models I have previously owned.

My only other comparison is the LG Infinum which has an extreme battery life- charge those once a week. The beats need charge every 8 hours of use so maybe get through an entire day. The beats sound way better tho. Much more bass. The beats also use apple lighting charger which is nice. LG stays on my neck on my motorcycle till about 70mph. Beats fly off at around 30mph. Secure them with safety pin then they stay on. Can’t retract the beats like the LG does so you have to get used to wearing a long necklace when not using them. I just tuck them inside my Tshirt so they don’t dangle in everything. The sound is superb for such a small earbud. Got mine at Best Buy for $109.00 online price is cheaper than in store price.

BeatsX are the best headphones I have owned in my 31 years. I am very knowledgeable with wireless, computer and home electronics. I like to make one purchase for each of my electronics that will last a couple years at least, so this makes me really pay attention to what I buy. I have used Studio Beats for my heavy bass songs but mostly used LG (Harman Kardon) headphones for conference calls and music. They never really do the trick with music no matter how much money I spend. I purchased PowerBeats3 and returned them mainly b/c I didn't like how they hung around my neck. I wanted BeatsX, but they didn't come out until after I purchased PowerBeats3. I returned PB3 and got BeatsX after 14 days of use. I fell in love with the BeatsX! I use the wing tips to give that extra support so they won't fall out. The noise canceling is the best I have ever had. I can hit a bat against brick wall, and hear a little something while I have a song playing. Can't hear the lawn mower while cutting grass. Bass is great! I recommend these for conference calls, phone calls, and of course music! The grey color blends in very well with everything. Just enough to be noticed, but still stealthy. I get stopped in the hospital all of the time and asked about them. My mom has the black ones, but the grey is smooth looking. Enjoy, MTF

Found these on sale, picked them up for the wife and I. We do a lot of 5K’s as walkers and our cheap Bluetooth earphones quit charging. These charge quick, pair instantly with our iPhones, and sound good. Love that can control it from my Apple Watch. With the wing tips they stay in place and don’t fall out all which is a good thing. For the sale price they were great. Otherwise kind of expensive.

I love these headphones. They are better than any I have had and they last all day at work without needing to be charged. Great sound, they don't get in the way, don't fall out of my ears! Great product

Love the long battery life and the sound quality. I would have give it a 5 star but problems in Windows and the cord could be a little shorter to avoid overhang.

Bought these for my wife she loves them. They last through several sessions at the gym and the sound is clear and loud. The wrap around neck keeps them in place even when only one bud is being used.

I love these. They not only sound great, are as light as a feather, and are the most comfortable earphones I've ever had. They put the hard plastic wireless ones I've had for a few months to shame.

Easy to connect to apple devices, tells you battery level when connected, great sound once you select the proper ear bud. Would definitely recommend them!

I love these earbuds. I've tried every earbud that best buy has. These are my favorite. Nice bass. Comfortable. Great battery life. If they die, charge them 5 minutes and get 2 more hours.

I've been using these headphones for about two months now and I've gotta say, they were well worth the money and the wait. I use them mainly for working out and they fit that purpose really well. I've got a funny shaped ear I guess, so I've always had a hard time finding headphones that fit in, and stay in my ear while I'm working out and these have performed really well. I never have to worry about them falling out or even feeling like they might. Now, the play/pause/volume control maybe could've been placed in a better spot, however this is a minor thing that doesn't affect its functionality at all. The sound is really good compared to wireless headphones I've used in the past. (Jabra Sport, Jay Bird, etc...) could have a little more kick in the bass area, but it gets plenty loud enough to get mean psyched up for my workout. The noise cancellation is impeccable, which is partly because of the soft in-ear buds, but it really blocks out every bit of noise. Sometimes not the best thing when your outdoors, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. I love how seamlessly the work with my iPhone and the battery life is true as advertised. A 5 min charge will get you about half the battery life or another 4 hours which blows my mind every time. Great headphones all in all. Waited a long time for them to finally come out and and it was worth every second.

I was originally torn between these and the AirPods but I am so glad I went with the beatsx after doing my research. Love how they feel around my beck and these never fall off. Great sound and bass and the battery life and quick charge is super convenient. Bought myself and the wife a pair and we both love them especially after rarely using our powerbeats2

The Beats X are a great option for wireless. They have a really good sound, bass is not too heavy. They pair really easy with Apple products, meaning I can change from my iPhone to my iPad without having to pair the headphones each time. The only thing I don't like is that they are not sweat proof or water resistant. Overall great pair of headphones for the price.

I did a lot of research on these and other comparable ear buds before I bought the beats x. biggest thing I was looking for was convenience. I am an Apple user, so these headphones work great with all my devices. pair them once with iphone, and they sync across all you devices. pretty cool. I put these through the ringer every day listening constantly at work, and they have yet to die on me. I haven't listened to them for eight hours straight, as they advertise, but I usually get a minimum of 6-7 hours in every day, and by the end of the day I usually have around 25% battery left, which should allow for another 2 hours of listening. come into work the next morning and they charge up to full battery in no time through lightning cable...another major plus. 1 cable for everything. this was another major selling point for me I gave them 4 stars for the bass response. its there, but not quite as pronounced as I would have liked. however overall these are really good headphones, and I really enjoy listening to them all day. they are very comfortable and sound pretty good. To summarize: 1. Convenient for apple users 2. Excellent battery life 3. Decent sound quality (for wireless Bluetooth headphones) 4. Comfortable for all day listening

I have had these for several months now. The music quality is spot on. Easy volume control. Very comfortable to wear. I wear them while jogging, working out at the gym and under my standard hearing protection cups while mowing. The charge lasts quite a while. My only issue is the cord is a little long. Other than that I like them very well.

Have had them for about a month, I love them! They sound really really good. Very clear and perfect on the bass. Easy to connect and these do stay connected even past 30 ft. Battery is lasting me about 8hrs max, but I'm listening to music nonstop and taking a few calls here and there. No complains really. Well worth the money.

Great for working out, fit my ears good, do not bother me by the weight, the battery is good, connects easy to devices! The only bad thing is that the sound does not compare to the beats headphones that cover your ears and have that sound cancellation. However the purpose I bought them for was to work out with them and without wires and for running.

Best Beats I have ever owned. I upgraded from the PowerBeats 2. Those never sounded that great to my ears, were not comfortable and did not hold much of a charge. These last forever, are extremely comfortable and sound amazing as they fit properly. They are great for the gym even though they are not advertised for it. The use of Lightning charging is great since it saves space and works pretty quick.
