Years after it's release it is still a wonderfully funny flick! What more can you ask of a movie than to remain enjoyable through the years? I have the Laser Disc but decided to buy the Blu Ray in the event my third (and last) Laser Disc Player goes the way of the Dodo. This is an excellent comedy and one that I have enjoyed over the years and firmly believe I shall continue to do so. Oh, I know...I know. Some people just want to "stream" their movies. Well, when your Wifi goes buy buy (for whatever reason) I can still be enjoying my films on disc. Laser Disc. DVD. 4K UHD Blu Ray and Blu Ray. So yup. I highly recommend this film and the price is right too. Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

I'll be honest... How do you review Beetlejuice with anything new to add? As a fair-to-middling Tim Burton fan, Beetlejuice and Batman are my faves. Unsure if this is due to them being more accessible or I simply find that he does his best work with Michael Keaton, but Beetlejuice is a must-watch, even if you're not a fan of Burton's regular style of storytelling. What I will add is that for many younger generational moviegoers, Michael Keaton, who may only be identifiable through a small handful of newer (SpiderMan's Vulture,) or timeless (Beetlejuice, Batman,) roles is someone worth investing time into finding films from his brief heyday. (Find Mr. Mom, Dream Team, (for the love of ALL) Johnny Dangerously, Pacific Heights, and My Life). The Beetlejuice DVD transfer isn't particularly special, but there's some fun goodies here; in particular, three episodes of the Saturday morning cartoon that was spinned off from the film. If Beetlejuice isn't a part of your film collection, it's time to take a break and re-examine where you went wrong. At $4, there's simply no excuse not to correct the error of your ways.
