    I saw this as a kid and loved it back then. But like many things that fall into that category, I wasn't as big a fan of it watching it as an adult. There were a number of good site gags and the characters were a bit likeable, but they had no depth. This is a trend in much of Tim Burton's work - especially his earlier stuff.

    Movie deserves 4+ stars but my review is 3 stars because I did not purchase the 20th Anniversary Edition. Had I known it even existed, I would have purchased it instead for an extra $2.00. This movie was a BlockBuster of a hit and still holds up GREAT today.
