great for doing a podcast in a noisy environment

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So not having a professional sound studio can make recording a pod cast challenging however these dynamic cardiod microphones reduce all sorts of noises like ice cream trucks, neighbors screaming, dogs barking, police and ambulance sirens and planes landing. these are very budget microphones and so the cardiod range pattern does need to be at least 6 inches away from the person's mouth to get a rich sound.
