i just buy this items , because the review and don't work, come with problems from the behringer warehouse . I plug the first amplifier with out back connection just to verify that is working before the warranty expire, as soon just plug in -blow the fuse . i decide to return both with out check the other one. I have more than 25 years in experience with equipment for djs and never has some problems with the amplifier, I call my friend and explain the situation and he said that he have five of that amplifiers to fix because come with electric problems.

Nice unit for sending high-power to unpowered subs

I'm using this to drive a pair of 'Buttkicker LFE' tactile devices. They require gobs of power - and I'm driving a pair and have plenty of overhead to drive another pair. I went with the DSP model over the plain one, because of the added flexibility of configuring the amp to use "frequency curves", etc. The parameter control via the DSP model is pretty amazing -- the plain model is just volume up/down, not frequency management. Love the unit. Incredibly lightweight for the power output. One complaint, the fan is quite loud when it's really pumping juice. It ramps up in speed and back down again - pretty quickly. When I'm watching a movie that has say, a car-chase scene -- this amp really puts out the juice for crashes, etc. But if the scene immediately shifts to something quiet -- you can hear the fan for a few seconds more (10-15 seconds) and for some that may be annoying/distracting. It's not to me. I'm OK with it... it's not that bad.
