Average Amp with Decent Price

I needed a small, but reasonably powerful bass amp for our church and, having purchased Behringer's PA products in the past, felt that they could handle a bass amp at a reasonable price.
The controls on the amp is what you'd expect out of a $150-250 bass amp, with the added bonus of having built-in distortion option. The 5-channel EQ is a nice addition that you're going to need.
The sound the amp produces tends to be a little heavy on the mid-range for my tastes, even with the mids taken almost all the way down. It took me a lot of tweaking to get the sound to get right, but eventually, I got it to "I can live with it"... I just never got it to "I really like it". Granted, it's a practice amp, but I'd still like to work a little less at it. The distortion addition is OK, but can become cumbersome to manage. It is, however, very powerful - loud enough to handle the bass needs of a 400 person church sanctuary so long as the congregation isn't singing too loud. To me, the clean option was too quiet, but it may just be how I was trying to shape the sound at that point.
The amp doesn't feel like it could handle too many drops, but it doesn't feel overly cheap, either. It feels... well, exactly like a $150-200 amp should feel, I guess. I also like the design that lets you lay the amp either as a stand-up combo or a monitor-style combo.
In the end, it's a decent, but not great amp. If you're in dire need of an amp (as I was), or if you're just starting out on bass and want a little more power than a 10-watt amp, this one will actually do nicely.
I would recommend this to a friend

Its a good deal on a stylish, compact, and powerful even for a 45watt amp. Its hooked up to my epiphone cherry bass and it sounds pretty good.It will deliver the sound, but more mixers would be nice :)
