I was skeptical at first about buying this amp but when i plugged my Gibson SG guitar and played, the sound was absolutely amazing. I own a 50 watt Marshall half stack, i compared both amps sounds and the Behringer VT50 is a much better sounding amp, i could not believe it. The built-in effects in the VT50 are extremely amazing. It opens up a new realm of sounds and possibilities. It makes my Masterbuilt acoustic-electric guitar with the E-Sonic II system sound so rich and full. I can get pings and harmonic sounds when leads are played on the Gibson SG, sounds that are easy to get. The VT50's VT button when engaged gives you a whole new experience in playing. This amp is worth the investment. It comes with a footswitch too. I am sold on this amp. I plugged in a 4X12 Marshall speaker cabinet (8-ohms) and it made the VT50 sounds even better ! So full, rich and versatile ! I recommend the Behringer VT50 to anyone wanting new sounds and a great price and a quality built amp that looks professional.
