  • Take a "Chance" with Peter Sellers

    This is one of the best Peter Sellers movies in his great career. With the supporting cast of Shirley MacClaine, Melvin Douglas and Jack Warden. The story of a simple minded house gardener whose lived his entire life staying on one property and watching tv. Until the owner of the house passes away, so Chance, the gardener, is forced into the outside world.

    Love love love this movie. Peter sellers at his best. I remember seeing this in the theater years ago. Loved it then, love it still.

    If you love Peter Sellers you will enjoy this movie. Classic Sellers. He doesn't even have to say anything to be funny, just a natural. Perhaps that is the appeal - just simple clean humor. Truly loved this guy over my lifetime. So glad he left us with so many movies to enjoy over and over.

    A very well written scrip. A little slow paced, but very funny. Peter Sellers is excellent in this film.
