I think that Beirut" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I immediately enjoyed it. Rosamund Pike is one of my favorite actors and her role in this film was really amazing. I also think that "Beirut" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an amazing and original storyline.

John Hamm goes through several character changes: a loving husband, a devastated one drinking too much, a negotiator who outsmarts the CIA. He does that all very convincingly. We see the city of Beirut go through some of the same changes, going from a sparkling, cosmopolitan city to one of ruble because of civil war.

good movie with compotent actors. also the directors of this moviekeep the pace of the movie just right in my opinion.john hamm in my opinion is destined to becoming a major star.

This movie was good when we went to see it at the movies! It will have you thinking when it really get going! It's a great thriller with a lot of action!

There are so many movies out there that cover this situation but none of them compare to this one. I don’t think there is any way I can go into any general idea to give you a clue but I don’t want to spoil it so please look for yourself.

Excellent and I kept watching to see if my understanding of the story was correct. For those not experienced in that type of storytelling, you are in for a ride. Then end surprised me a little. Excellent Movie!

Great movie right up the alley for Jon Hamm a home town boy! More ethical but still can play a flawed character that really is a thrust back into an espionage thriller.

I must have been tired when I started this. So far I haven’t been able to finish it but the acting is top notch.

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and we are enjoying watching it again as often as we want.

THIS JON HAMM , ROSAMUND PIKE HEADED MOVIE WAS A GREAT SURPRISE. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT THRILLER ACTION MOVIE WITH PLENTY OF MIDDLE EAST INTRIGUE. I WAS TAKEN BY HOW GOOD IT REALLY WAS .

Good but not great political thriller. Just never really takes off.

This was a sleeper at the box office, probably with all the "I'm offended" political views about the middle East. However, it's a good, good movie.
