I have a Dell 34inch video conferencing monitor along with a Dell Precision laptop. I was attempting to hook the monitor to the laptop with a standard USB-C cable; no video was being displayed but other USB functions worked. The monitor specs indicated that it used DisplayPort 1.4 over USB-C and therefore I purchased this cable because it explicitly mentioned support for DisplayPort. This cable allows all functions of the monitor to work, including video, so I was pleased. It's pretty short, and a bit pricey, but worked for my setup.

The USB C cable that comes with Macs will only transfer at a slow speed. To get 20 Gbps connectivity between two Macs you need this high speed cable. Same connectors but totally difference experience.

This cable saved the day when it came to my new webcam (Logitech Brio) setup for my Windows laptop (Asus Zenbook Flip). My laptop has one USB A port and two USB C ones. USB A houses the adapter for my wireless mouse, meaning that the USB A to C cable supplied with the webcam couldn't be used. I grabbed a USB C to USB C syncing/charging cable I had on hand - this resulted in great video, but a bear of a time getting the audio to work. It then occured to me that the cable I was using was the issue. After switching to this, my webcam now performs the way it was meant to! Additionally, the length is the perfect for the distance between the webcam (which sits atop my monitor) and USB C port. It is uobtrusive and I do not have to worry about it getting caught on something. It is also very thick and well-made and though it is more than other cables, is worth the price from trusty brand Belkin,

Cables work like a champ, and they transfer data as fast as my computer and peripherals can push through them. Great alternative to pricer Apple cables. I use these with a Late 2020 iMac and Thunderbolt 3/USB C SSD external hard drive.

Functionally works as expected. HOWEVER the cable is very short. Yes, I know I purchased a short cable but it’s something to keep in mind. I wouldn’t use this to connect a laptop to a monitor unless you plan on having your laptop on the right side of the monitor (or your laptop has right-hand thunderbolt ports)

This cable was pricey for what it is, and I got it to display video from my phone directly to a TV. It worked but it's a short cable. Just so you know it doesn't work as a cable for the Oculus 2 in case you wanted to try using it for that. It does a decent job providing fast transfer speeds to and from a phone and PC as well as long as you have a 3.2 port.

These worked well for a trip I was taking. They're short enough that they don't get tangled, but long enough that they will make it from an outlet to you.
