Both use "variable, high-speed" charging. It worked well for two phones at the same time. However, ), it did not work when trying to charge the tablet, either alone or with a phone in the other port My tablet had an error, Shutting down to protect tablet...Please use the original charger. Since it did not meet my need, I returned it.
