Good hub

This hub provides four more ports and makes it a bit more convenient to get at them as opposed to always trying to reach around to the back of the iMac. No setup issues and works as advertised. It is a few dollars more than some of the competitors, but well worth it.

I have been using several older and cheaper hubs with mixed results. All my other hubs are powered, but when I plugged this baby in everything worked better than ever before. My biggest surprise was my backlit Logitech powered keyboard. before the light would go out every 10 sec. now it stays lit forever until I shut it down. The right tool getting it done right.,

Better than a simple extension

Was not disappointed. I have my project hard drives plugged into it, and it works like a charm. I might just get a couple more to upgrade my other current hubs the next time I'm at Best Buy.
