I initially got this for additional powered USB ports for use with my new laptop. Its predecessor was an aging USB hub used with my desktop, I was instantly able to see the vast improvements, particularly in speed of data transfer of this hub, especially with my external drive.

I have always liked Belkin products and this hub didn't change my mind. It works flawlessly.

I needed to expand my USB ports and found the plug and play feature really easy to use. The USB transfer cable between the hub and the computer is a little bulky and does require a separate power source. The reason it is a 4 out of 5 stars is due to the power sources adapter taking up two outlet spaces on the surge protector which I wasn't able to determine prior to purchase. But overall great value for the price.

I was looking for something I could Velcro under the desk. This worked perfectly.

Product is as advertised. Easy to open, easy to use. No apparent loss of speed.

I got this to connect multiple things and it does the job. Would purchase again.

This hub is okay. You can change multiple devices at the same time. However. It takes forever to charge. My iPad takes twice as long to charge than normal. So while we do use it and like the convenience of multiple chargers we need to allow extra time.

Most importantly, this works. It works upon set-up and over time. The primary negative is that the cord for the power supply and usb3 cable are only a few feet long. If you need to have this at any distance from your computer you will need an extension. Also, with only 4 ports, this seems a bit pricey.

This is a simple "as it should be" plug and play USB hub. This is an awesome add and pretty much required with the Alienware laptops since they cheeped out and only put 2 USB ports on their laptops.

I love this USB hub because it allows for very fast transfer of data from my computer to an external hard drive. I also like that it is externally powered so it doesn't drain my laptop battery.

we liked having this while traveling to help keep all our electronics charged and available. Our only wish is that the power adapter seems a bit large and we would think it could be smaller.

We have tons of USB "needy" items on just our bedroom and this unit has made it so easy to save space and keep track of the things connected. I will be purchasing another one soon!

It's fast and portable. It also powers all my USB devices to include my midi keyword, external drives, wireless mouse, and charges my phones pretty fast. Highly recommend to buy.
