Overall a great value for my money. I found installation to be very easy and I noticed a difference in speed access to internet with this model compared to my previous Belkin, which was much slower. Although the unit seems a little large in height, so you notice it on top of your shelf, stereo unit etc, it is slim enough not to take up a lot of room.

Does what I needed, but seems about once a week I need to reboot it due to flashing orange light and no connectivity.. easy to fix

To me, it works very well. It does just what it is suppose to do, and set up was fairly simple. I needed it because my belkin router is in my bedroom connected to my modem and desktop, and my new samsung smart tv is in the den at the front of the house. Before I had about 2 bars and now I have full 5 bars strength and almost no buffering on stremming video.

I wasn't expecting the device to rebroadcast on another SSID. This isn't so much extending as rebroadcasting. It's a bit of a pet peeve, but now I'm having to choose which SSID to connect with and moving around the house is a bit of a pain since my tablet tends to stick with one connection if it gets any signal from it at all. Additionally, I'd previously purchased a small Linksys RE2000 extender and used it as a glorified wireless access point for a blue ray player. The Linksys and Belkin don't play nice at all. I can get the Linksys to connect to the Belkin SSID and appears to work but for some reason can't get any form of meaningful data transmission between the two. Apart from the non-compatibility, the device works fine...

A nice range extender for wireless network. Easy set up.

I followed the instructions for setup which were flawless. I turned it on, and it's just worked since. Just the way I like it! I did try to hook our Internet phone system into it and it didn't like it much. I'm sure I could have adjusted our settings some and gotten it to work, but I just moved it back to the router for simplicity's sake.

Good product. Easy to set up. Really does extend range

My wifi signal didn't consistently reach the entire house. The extender gives coverage throughout and even out into the backyard. Only drawback is that my devices don't always automatically connect to the stronger wifi signal (either the original router or the extender), so I have to manually reconnect to the stronger faster signal.

Set up was easy and it works like it should. Very happy with the purchase.

Seemed like a decent extender, had to end up returning it and getting a new Motorola Surfboard instead.

I really only had 1 problem with the extender. The first one I bought was dead out of the box. I plugged it in and got a power light, but it didn't do anything else. The manual in the box wasn't very detailed so I had to go online for troubleshooting. The online instructions (at Belkin) and the ones in the box were different. I figured out it was bad, returned it and the new one was very easy to install. I like that it extends the wi-fi without created a new SSID for the clients. It integrated to my Belkin router pretty seamlessly and I've not had to restart it for any reason. The speed is decent, but you can still tell when you're on the extender over directly to the router, just a typical effect of extenders. Overall, very happy with it and my kids are happy they can plug in non-wifi devices (PS3, older XBox 360).

Was able to connect with hard wire to my computer and follow exactly the setup instructions. Always a good idea to change defaults with your own logs and passwords prior to using. Once setup is complete you must disconnect and place where you would like it and plug it in. From then on it just works.

Does what it says it does. Connection is relatively strong but cuts in and out from time to time.

I bought this because my computer was far from our router. It was easy to install but was useless, it gave a better signal but didn't change the download speed or upload speed. So it showed extra bars, yet nothing changed

I mainly needed this for the wireless bridge function and not so much for the wi-fi range extension. And it's been great for me as it's stengths have been in the areas that were most important. I have an A/V receiver, Blu-ray player and satellite box all connected to the ethernet ports and they all connected to my home network without a hitch. In fact there has been no hitches whatsoever with this product. Everything has worked as expected or better. I can stream Netflix wirelessly without issue. I also stream flac audio files easily. So fair price, good looks, quick easy set-up and excellent performance. What more could you want?

Our wireless Comcast service was not reliable anymore. Comcast made this suggestion to get an extender. We are not very computer savy but this was such an easy fix! Everyone can use our wireless again anywhere in house and yard.

This device was quick and easy to install. It has increased my wifi signal tremendously.

Oh my gosh the extender I have is great! We were having difficulty with our internet up stairs, we had no idea that there was such a thing as an extender. We have excellent signals now all over the house. Thanks Best Buy!
