A charger needs to be one thing, and that is reliable. This apparently is not, at least for the bottom pad. The air pods were placed within the square of the bottom pad and the light was on, so it should have charged.

Great dual charger, small caveat.

But sadly I did not have a MagSafe case, but did have a super slim silicone case on my phone. Unfortunately, the magnets from the phone and the base weren’t strong enough to securely keep the phone “locked in”, at least in my case.

I set mine up right in front of me on top of my office desk. I flip my iphone sideways to play music or watch youtube while working. And I flip upright when I make business and personal calls. It's a great product and you can even charge your airpods

The unfortunate part is that the base of the unit (which was designed to charge the AirPods Pro case) is not magnetic, and you have to set the case in the exact/perfect spot in order for the charging to kick in. I thought the base would’ve been a MagSafe charger also. That was a bit of a let down.

Hold is very strong, vertical or sideways, and AirPods Pro new version charge great in the try. Have it sitting right next to my PC!
