bought it for my car, didn't want to fry my iPhones battery and this is one of the approved products by apple so why not? its definitely not as pricy as apple products in store but works just the same. no overheat problems or any problems with connectivity. definitely worth the money and investment. you never know when you need the battery and the thought of needing it in an emergency should make you realize you need to keep your safety first and foremost! :)

It's small and charges my phone very fast. Turns off when my car is off so it doesn't drain my battery

This charging unit, which plugs into the cigarette lighter of my 2014 Altima, solved an issue where I can keep my device charged and use the speaker unit of the device for Ggogle Map driving directions. Without it, I would lose voice for directions because the car Bluetooth would not allow charging and voice to work at the same time. By using power source other than the car's primary system, I am now able to do both. Color me a happy road warrior!

A must have. Where did I put my. Have you seen my. With a busy work and travel schedule I can't always find my charger. I keep this one in the car at all times. Can charge my Bluetooth devices for work and play on the go. I never have to be on the way to the gym and start worrying about whether or not I remembered to charge my headphones. Thanks

It does do all of that, and handles 2 devices with no problem. But, If I had the time/days to wait, I would have shopped around, as I have done since. IMHO - Expensive . . and I am a Very Frugal buyer. If you buy this, anything, from Best Buy, shop around after you buy it. They have Always been fair and fast on matching prices and refunds with me (see their 'Price Match' policy). I just needed this really fast for a trip. No complaints from me.

I was on a long business trip. I needed the GPS app on my smartphone, but I was draining the battery. The car charger I had been using finally failed, and I was close to complete discharge. I was forced to stop at a Speedway to purchase a charger, which ultimately blew the fuse. I next stopped at a Best Buy and purchased this unit at half the Speedway cost. It proved to be a better car charger than the one I had used for several years.

Durable and charges fast compared to cheap imitates

I have experienced nothing but good things from Belkin. I have a charger for my car my boyfriends truck and we have one at home. I am going to buy another one. I recommend them to anyone who wants their device to charge FAST!!! & if you look on the Best Buy app they're always on sale for the most part.

I’ve now had this charger (and the braided cable) for 2 years...still going strong. The charger replenishes the phone VERY fast (iPhone 6), clicks in place in the port securely and doesn’t do anything weird like creates a buzzing noise that I’ve heard using cheaper chargers.
