A key point in selecting this model was it's ability to allow you to talk to the individual being monitored. Other brands offered additional features such as pan & tilt and higher resolution so it's best to compare features to determine which is best unit fo intended use. Offers both fee and subscription services depending on whether you want to record. Only difficulty we had wth setup was poor WiFi signal at rear of home which required boosting WiFi signal.

Please be informed that you should at least get three (3) wireless signal bars from your router's wireless connection so that you will be able to make the unit work to its full potential. Posted .Hi. Thank you for providing us a product review. To ensure stability through Wi-Fi, we recommend that you set up your router with a permanent wireless channel. Test channels 1, 3, 6, 9, and 11 for the 2.4 GHz network. Once the router will no longer hop from one channel to the other, the NetCam should not be disconnected anymore. Love them..easy to use

I need to know whether he is asleep or has climbed out of the crib. I can use the app to view video, and even hear sound and talk to him. Best thing is I can see whether he is sleeping without waking him up to see if he's sleeping. It has an infrared setting so that you can see whats going on in the dark, which is a great feature for what I need the camera for.

You don't need to have a Wemo device to get the NetCam up and running. However, there are specific setup that would require you to use a Wemo device. It looks like both devices are already up and running but should you need our help, you can email us anytime at [email protected].
