    good value, decent performing earbuds

The Belkin Soundform True Wireless Earbuds are a compact well-made pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds. As with most earbuds they come with other size interchangeable buds, the default installed medium buds seemed to be most comfortable in my ear. These are sound isolating and given their reasonable price I would not expect active noise cancelling (ANC) features. The buds sit in a little carry case/charging station, which charges the ear buds and provides a battery source for another few recharge cycles when needed. The wireless earbuds have a rated run time of about 7 hours which I found to be pretty accurate the first couple of cycles I used them from full charge to a needs charging state. The QI wireless charging case (a really nice feature for this price point) provides about another 24 hours of run time. I found the USB-C connection on the case a bonus and is fundamentally a better connection than older USB interfaces. The sound reproduction is fairly accurate, although a bit on the soft side. I also used the buds on a few Zoom calls while working from home and was very pleased with how they performed. The built-in microphones seem to do a good job at picking up your voice while doing a decent job of minimizing background noise. Pairing these earbuds was easy and problem free as well as controlling your connected device through light touches on each of the earbuds, they also work well in mono mode (using a single earbud). I did not have to worry about sweat of water impacting the buds since they are IPX5 rated. They have less lag than other ear buds I used, which is important when using to listen to audio from video sources, I suspect this has to do with the minimal amount of processing the earbuds perform (for instance no active noise cancelling). These are a good pair of true wireless earbuds, providing decent performance at this price point. Pros: - sound decent, a little bass heavy/soft on treble - easy connectivity - good for teleconferencing and phone calls - Nice charging/holding case with built in battery and USB-C jack for charging the battery case. - Looks like a more expensive pair of earbuds. Cons: - None, at this price point.

    Very Stable Bluetooth Connectivity

For any Bluetooth audio device, the first things I test are lag and stability since both are very common issues. For the last 3 and half days that I’ve been using these earbuds, they only failed on me once and that was because I turned a microwave oven while listening to music. And I’m not using that against them because I have yet to see a Bluetooth device that doesn’t have audio issues when too close to an operating microwave oven simply because those ovens operate at the same frequency as Bluetooth but at a much higher power. Even with all the protection to keep the radio waves internally, they do leak enough to affect audio devices. What matters is the buds have been very stable and no noticeable lags. Audio quality won’t impress audiophiles but won’t disappoint most other people, especially for this price category. The bass level is adequate for listening while working out or doing something physical. It is also great for virtual meetings with its multiple microphones and clear audio. The only time I was not totally happy about them was when I laid down on my couch to listen to some nice music. I won’t bore you with all the technical details of my frustration because I’m one of those audiophiles and prefer over- or on-ear headphones for those moments. Otherwise, they were great. IPX5 is okay for occasional sweats and humid environment. For heavy and frequent workouts or wet places, I would be concerned. If you are an athlete, you might want to look for something with an IPX7 or higher rating. Also, I’m used to auto pause when you take earbuds out of your ears, but these won’t pause automatically. The good news is that they are relatively comfortable, and the battery lasts long enough until when you need a break and put them back into the charging case, which will give you many more hours of active listening when you need them again. Based on price category, these are among the best I’ve tried, and my 4-star rating is taking that into consideration. Otherwise, I would have rated them 3 stars for lack of noise cancellation and good but not great audio quality. However, their excellent stability for the Bluetooth connection makes them a great value.

Pairing these was a bit of a hassle, but I did eventually get them to pair. Unfortunately, when I started listening to music, the left bud kept turning off. I couldn't seem to get it to stay on; assuming this is a defect of some kind. Will be returning

They paired easily and the audio quality is great for earbuds. They're comfortable and don't fall out. I've slept with them several times and the battery lasts all night. My first pair of wireless buds and I will say I am jot disappointed.

These earbuds sound really good. They do a really good job blocking out the outside sounds of the world. The highs and lows are more than acceptable. Battery life is really good. So Far I am getting around 8 hours of use before needing to charge. Comfort, they are not uncomfortable. But you know they are there. I really can't explain it other than they fit really nice and do not fall out. The body of the earpiece doesn't touch you. The stem/mic extension does not rub on you. The weight is hardly noticeable. But you just know they are there. I have used others that I forget I have them in. Wireless charging on the case is nice to have. Although the case is rather thick. Overall, I like them, but nothing about them other than battery life blows me away. I would recommend them.

Purchased these as a gift to replace a set of JBL ear buds. I was told they work better than others. Quality is great for music, but calls could have been better. Still way ahead of others.

      Hi there,

We appreciate the time in posting a review! The included 3 pairs of silicone ear tips (small, medium, and large) should've helped the earbuds to stay while on the go. Please don't hesitate to get in touch at [email protected] should you need help in the future with your Belkin device.

I've never had a pair of ear buds that connected to my android phone so easily, right out of the box. I opened the charging case, looked at the Bluetooth connections on my phone and tapped the Soundform Rise entry: connected. Extremely painless. No Bluetooth hide and seek (I really hate that), they just show up as soon as the case is opened. These are nice affordable ear buds that really surprised me with their sound. Are they the best I've ever heard? Not really, but they do sound good. Better than I expected. I've given much worse reviews to many higher end buds in the past (the ones you expect to sound great because they cost so much). I think the shape has a lot to do with it actually. The better they fit and the deeper in your ear they can go has a lot to do with how much and how tight the low end is reproduced. Many other high end buds I own never seem to grasp that basic idea. Overall, I found the mid and high frequencies were a little on the harsh side, but can be compensated for with any music app EQ. The low end was reproduced well and they had nice sound pressure levels without being over done or boomy. They sound pretty good with a flat EQ, and sound even better with a little tweaking. The Soundform buds fit perfectly right out of the box for me. I usually need to monkey around with different tip sizes and positions to get the best fit but these were just super easy to put in right the first time. And I found I never needed to mess with them after they were in. They're secure and don't ever feel like they're going to fall out. Nice charging case. It has a USB-C port to charge it (charging cable is included) or you can charge it wirelessly. The ear buds go into the case smoothly and without trouble. I never had to hunt around for the right way to put them in. As far as controlling them, you can pause and play, raise or lower the volume, play the next or last track and answer the phone. This is all done with a combination of taps on either the right or left ear. I found this a bit tedious as you have to guess where exactly to tap on each ear and the single, double or triple taps require some thought as to which command you want to use and on which ear. A lot of ear buds are like this these days and after working with them for a while, it became easier to find the tap sweet spot and use the right command. The Soundform Rise ear buds are a solid choice for anyone who is looking for a set of good sounding, true wireless ear buds at a very affordable price. The use of a USB-C port on the charging case is a nice choice and the wireless charge feature is a bonus as well. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better sounding, more comfortable pair at this price. They are easy to pair and easy to wear. The tap sequences are a little tedious but after working with them, not a deal breaker.

Belkin's SOUNDFORM Rise True Wireless Earbuds are unobtrusive and have high end looks despite their low cost. Four microphones provide for clear speech on calls. 7 hours of charge in the buds and another 24 hours in the (wireless) charging case provide extended listening time. They feel rugged and stay put in your ears (at least with mild exercise). IPX5 water resistance rating protects them from rain and dust. The controls are easy-to-use and provide audio power and nice sound quality. You can change volume, skip tracks, and take calls, all from the earbuds.

    Solid Buds From Belkin

Unfortunately my review is going to be short, as some misguided person stole these ear buds soon after I got them. However, I am a big believer in Belkin products. Belkin has continued to move from a second-tier company, into a company that make products as high of quality as their top line competitors and still provide tremendous value. These buds were not different. I didn't even get through one charge before these buds were taken, but that's saying a lot! Used nearly every day and stored in the charger, they never had to be plugged in after over a weeks worth of daily usage. I anticipate that they would have lasted another week if given the chance. I was also impressed at the quality of the buds and charger. They feel solid and well made. The buds offer the normal size adjusted covers to fit the ear better. They were comfortable, nearly to a point where you don't notice them. As for sound quality, I am very impressed! Buds in general have come a long way in the recent years in terms of sound quality. I just wish there was an app for these buds so the user could equalize and make small adjustments to the quality. This is the only thing missing from this solid package. As I mentioned at the beginning, the buds were stolen. And after my limited use of them, I am contemplating purchasing another pair. I would recommend these to family and friends.
