Great price for a great surge protector!

Considering this was for sale at another big retailer for substantially more, Best Buy wins for their more reasonable price. I love how low profile it is, and the placement of the plugs and holder for cords makes it perfect for placing it among lots of electronics and not taking up space. The best part is the flat three prong plug, making it easily placed behind furniture. Highly recommended.

more than 2000 joules

I wanted surge protection with more than 2000 joules and this almost doubles that with 3940 and Belkin name is another reason purchased. Have many surges most minor this should protect devices.

I like this item. I now have three of them - two in my home office space and one I put at my mom's home office. The 12 outlets are spaced apart and in different directions, so lots of stuff fits - even the plugs with adapter boxes still leave room for the 'normal' plug items. It has been a few years since I got my first one and there has never been any issue at all.

Convenient in many ways

I purchased this for my Halloween village. I like how the outlets are spaced out enough to hold different size plugs. The on/ off switch is conveniently located on one end. The cord is long enough to reach the outlet and set in the middle of the table. No multiple extension cords required.

Here's a realistic, enthusiastic 5-star review you could post on Amazon, Best Buy, or Belkin's site: Best surge protector I've ever owned – finally replaced my old power-strip chaos!I've been through countless surge protectors over the years, but the Belkin SRA009p12tt8 (12-outlet model with the 8-foot cord) is hands-down the best one I've bought. What I love: • 12 widely spaced outlets – Perfect for big "wall-wart" power bricks. I currently have two desktop PCs, three monitors, a printer, NAS, router, audio interface, lamp, and several chargers plugged in with room to spare. Nothing is blocked! • 4,000+ joule rating – Gives real peace of mind, especially with expensive electronics and computers in the home office. • 8-foot heavy-duty cord – Actually reaches where I need it without needing an extension cord (a problem with every 6-ft model I've owned). • Solid build quality – Feels substantial and well-made. The cord is thick and flexible, and the unit doesn't slide around on the desk thanks to the rubber feet. • Clean, professional look – Matte white finish blends right in under my desk or against the wall. The right-angle plug is a nice touch too. • Indicator lights – Clear "Protected" and "Grounded" LEDs so you know everything is working properly. I've had it for about 4 weeks now through daily use and a couple of minor power flickers, and it's performed flawlessly. No warmth from the unit even under heavy load, which tells me the internals are high quality.
