    I bought this dongle to have usb power as well as ethernet over one usb input for use in virtual desktop on Quest 3. Surprisingly, as soon as I connected the ethernet cable, it automatically connected to the network. I have a network switch that has my pc connected to it, as well as my Quest 3 with this adapter. By using a wired connection, the networking latency is now averaging 2ms (down from 6-10ms over WiFi 6), and I am able to increase the bitrate higher without any hiccups from wireless. I was already using my headset wired and plugged into the wall to charge, so adding an ethernet cable as well as a cable sleeve to keep them together is fine with me. Although, I do intend to get an angled usb-c adapter to allow the dongle to not stick out so much.

    This Belkin Ethernet to USB-C adapter works exactly as promised and has been a great upgrade for my setup.     Functional and reasonably priced ethernet adapter. Plug it in and go, at least on modern computers. Useful for newer Apple computers that lack a ethernet and lack USB A.
