Purchase a couple of these to be use with Amazon Echo/dot. It's fun and educational to automate things. There's a phone app for android and ios, it supports samsung smart hub, and it supports Echo. Very well built!

I have two different brand wifi switches and the WEMO is far superior. Having said that, it is also more expensive. I have never had any problems with the WEMO and like being able to set lights to turn on/off and different times when I'm away from home. Being wifi, I can also change the times remotely. I also have some wifi cameras that are plugged into the WEMO but sometimes the cameras get "stuck" (i.e., they just won't work) so I can turn the camera off via the switch and turn it back on to reset it. If you REALLY want to go to the next level, get Amazon Alexa. It's like the Clapper (remember them?) on steroids. You will never need to touch a light switch again to turn on/off lights or whatever you want.

I have my TV hooked up to the WeMo switch and use Google Home to turn it on and off. Only do2nside is that it's rather bulky but Belkin has come out with a smaller version.

This item is very useful and provides a sense of security.

It took me awhile to get my Amazon echo to control it but once I did it has worked great. Great for turning on lights if coming home at night or if we are out of town. Would recommend for vacation homes especially.

I bought this for a gift to use with the Amazon Echo. So far so good. I believe it's working well. She was excited to be able to turn her lights on and off with her voice.

We have 11 WEMO outlet switches. They are synced both with Amazon Echo (Alexa) and the WEMO app on our smart phone. We love the ability to remotely control light in our house or have then turn on andoff according to rules that we set up. The one annoyance is that sometimes some of the switches lose network contact and they are "grayed out" in the WEMO menu or Alexa tells us that they are not responsive or can't be found. This only happens infequently but when it does, it is frustrating. Hence four stars instead of five. When they work, they are a terrific convenience. Overall, we are glad that we installed them.

So easy to use, you'll absolutely love Belkin - WeMo Switch!

I initially had trouble setting it up, but it now works great with my Amazon Echo. "Alexa turn on Christmas Tree". So much better than using a remote to turn on the tree.

I added lights to my deck but had to plug them in an outlet in the basement. This Wemo device allows me to turn my lights on and off from anywhere in the house. I have another one for my lights on the porch.

Product is as described and easy to set up and use. I would recommend this product as it can be controlled from an application whether you are home or not...

I love that I can set rules and times to turn on and off especially in the morning when it's really dark, it's always nice to have a light on when you're half asleep.

Went home to set it up and had a little bit of an issue connecting it to my Google Home, had to use IFTTT. But now, as of the latest update to the Home unit, it is fully supported. Love it. Works great

These switches are a cheap and dirty way to get your lights, kettles, and devices started up through your phone or a home automation hub. The IFTTT integration allows you to activate, deactivate, flicker, and toggle any device you plug into it, allowing you to set up a myriad of ways to automate your home. 4 stars only because I had the switches become unresponsive for a few days - though customer support was quick to respond to my queries and the problem has since been corrected.

I have about 10 of these switches around my house. They are awesome! It is great being able to turn the lights on if I'm out later and didn't put any lights on, if I forget to or even when on vacation.

This is an excellent addition to my Alexa from Amazon. The switch has its on app but works with Alexa, just ask her to turn on or off your light or applicance! Works great a must have for the remote world.

I wanted a before-dusk to after-dawn control switch, and this lets you set up a movable schedule according to the times of dawn and dusk. Extremely clever. Set it up with a smart phone. Very easy to use.

Bought to use with a lamp. It's works as advertised.

I love the concept of "cloud-control" across iPhone and iPad devices via the WeMo app. The switch worked perfectly while on vacation in Hawaii. The manufacturer-installed firmware was lacking in that the switch would only connect to my wireless router when in direct line-of-sight. After upgrading the firmware, that problem was solved and connectivity has been solid throughout my two-story 2800 square foot home. I have two of these nifty little switches - the first purchased for a very good price at Home Depot. The second from my local Best Buy when they matched HD's price. I like that! Four star rating because of the factory-installed firmware problem.

Not trying to be lazy but this wi-fi switch makes my life so much easier. Works well. Very happy.
