Bought this for use with a SmartThings hub. Hub takes a long time to recognize the WeMo switch. Once connected can sometimes lose the connection. Although more expensive, I should have bought the Smart Things outlets.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. No problems.

We purchase one switch to control lights in one room. It was the perfect solution so we purchased another switch for another room. This was easy and fast to install and connect with Alexa. LOVE IT!

Amazing product, works well, many uses around the home.

Only drawback: One Home, One Wemo Smart phone App.

I bought this to be able to turn the lights on in the basement and it works great! Easy to use. Saves me money because I don't have to turn on a bunch of lights to get to the area that I want lit.

I had WeMo Switches and Outlets in my previous home which I just sold, so decided to do them again in my new house. The problem is I had outlets from over a year ago, with new switches I just bought, it took two days for the outlets and switches to get on the same page. One would work then the other wouldn't and vice versa, then one would update the firmware rendering the others unuseable. I have a total of 2 switches and 3 outlets in the house, when you launch the app, rarely do all 5 work at the same time...and that's the problem. Great technology when it works, it just doesn't always do that.

I love the Wemo because I have a lamp plugged into it, and I have set up Alexa to turn on the light at 6:00 every morning, so that I can wake up. -Bought from Best Buy at a great price on sale.

Great product! It was easy to connect to wifi and Alexa. This product has helped me out due to my limited mobility and health condition. I'm able to turn on my fan and lamp with a voice command.

Purchased for cutting inside security light on and off at different intervals. No set times as with a timer. Super easy to set up. Took less than 5 minutes. A great product for home protection.

We got this device because my dog kept bumping the regular timer switch and changing the time . This was as easy as plugging it in and downloading an app. Then set the timer. Piece of cake!! Can't wait to get more!!

I purchased this item with my Amazon Echo. I have several items plugged in. I can turn on lights, fans, TV, etc. I can control these items even when I am away.

Easy to control lamps via iPhone or iPad. Easy to setup and use. Fantastic during the Christmas season to control all those electrical lights.

I have Amazon's echo and echo dot and this plug in is just the best gadget to have for turning on lights, TV, etc. Call me lazy but, very good for handicap people with mobility issues....

It's great for me I have two little puppies and sometimes I can't get home from work in time so all I do is click on the WeMo switch . Now I don't feel guilty if I leave Lucy and Desi alone.

Our daughter told us about WeMo and we LOVE it! So easy to use. I'd like one for every lamp in our house. Really enjoyed using it with Alexa at Christmas to turn the tree lights on and off.

Purchased to work with alexa (echo), easy setup, sometimes you have to repeat command which could be annoying. Oh the one major draw back is it blocks the other receptacle from being used.

Purchased four of these to use with my Amazon Echo Dot. The setup was easy as was connecting to the Echo. WEMO app alone is great but combined with the Echo to add voice control is awesome.

I don't like to heat my whole house or empty rooms when not in use. So I use this remote switch to turn on space heaters, using the iPhone app, an hour before arriving home. Very economical.
