Cute for Alexa

For doing anything else (turning off/on, timers, etc) you can do it via your device's internet after opening the Android/iOS application. I'm not sure about doing it from the internet (as in, logging in to a website from a computer to allow access to the controls).

Good option for wireless switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Wemo switch works well with a wireless router and phone or with Alexa (Amazon Echo). I also use it as a timer using the Wemo app. I buy this version over the other Wemo switch because it is cheaper but I prefer the size of the other switch since this one takes up more space on the outlet.

Pretty good addition to my wireless home

I have it set on a timer to turn a light on in my main room around the time it starts getting dark outside, and then to turn that light off while I'm at work and the sun comes up. I can also turn the light on and off manually from my phone while I'm away as well.
