This is really easy to set up and works great. Just download the app and name each item you wish to use. Example: living room lamp, stereo, etc and turn it on with your phone or laptop. You will need WiFi to use this product. Only one plug per item used.

After a power outage, most times I have to reset this within the wireless network to regain control of it from my phone. Otherwise, it is a simple, straightforward way to get wireless control of a non-smart item.

Goes hand and hand with the Echo! I love it being Wi-Fi, no wiring and you can place it anywhere you have a wireless signal! I plan on buying more to spread out over my home! Much cheaper than paying an electrician and you can control it from your smartphone!

I have a lamp connected to my WeMo, works great on schedule, works well with Google Home (now), and IFTTT. I love the fact I don't have to depend anyone to shut it off or on! "Hey Google, turn off the lamp"

This is an awesome product when you don't want to leave the lights on all day. I love the fact that I can be anywhere in the world and turn my lights on or off. Great added security for my house as it gives the allusion that someone is there.

It works just fine. But there's no reason that anyone who designs anything that plugs into an outlet that that device should take up the space of both outlets.

It's great to drive home and have the lights on when I walk into my home. Mine is set using a GPS zone. Once I get close to home the light turns on. Then it turns off each night before I go to sleep.

This was a great addition to the Amazon Echo (Alexa)! We were able turn our lights on and off automatically with the WeMo! Although sometimes the connection gets kick off. It can be easily be reconnected.

I have a couple Belkin WEMO devices in my home. They work well and I've only had occasional issues with WiFi connectivity. They work seamlessly with Apple and Echo and don't require a hub which is great.

This is a great product and it did exactly what I needed it to. And the auto timer on/off is a the best feature. I have my coffee peculator hooked up to it so it goes on in the AM when I need it to. An absolute must have for anyone on the go.

I used my latest Wemo switch to control our Christmas tree. We used a Amazon Alexa to verbally turn the tree decorations on and off and my wife loved it. Be aware that you can not use a wemo switch to dim lights, just off and on.

At first had synced to different wifi so when I brought into the house did not worked. Moved to a different outlet and found a reset button on back. Works like a charm now.programmed to auto turn off and on. Love it going to buy 2 more

The WeMo works really well, as advertised. Set up to a lot longer than expected maybe about three hours. Switch seem to have a hard time connecting to my wireless router, once it made connection it worked great. I plan on adding a few more to the network.

Switches have worked seamlessly with Google Home through SmartThings hub. They are larger than I expected - about the size of a deck of cards and make it difficult to use both outlets at the same time.. New ones are smaller.

This product has been excellent to use while on vacation. There is a difference between another plug where this one does not track electrical usage but does all the additional features

It works as expected and I like the feature of being being able to both program and turn off and on via the app. Great for when your out of town or want a timed nightlight for the house.

It basically works as advertised but is inconsistent. I use it on a window AC to turn and off. The problem is the app. The button used to turn it on and off does not make it clear if it is on or off. It often takes two clicks to get it to engage. Also when I am away, coming home on a hot day I would like to turn it on from afar. Sometimes it works, sometimes it says device not found but when it is found I cannot tell if it is actually on. Often it is not. There is a timer to set it to come on at 5pm or whatever and that seems to work well.

I got two of these. Great concept, but software is lacking. Often one or both devices dont show on the android app, and the scheduler does not work at all. I've updated software, tried several common fixes - eg reset device, disconnect/reconnect to software, but still does not work. I like the idea of the app and convenience of turning on and off a device remotely, but until the software issues get resolved. I've passed my return date, otherwise I would have returned this. There are more and more other brands coming into the market. I'd recommend looking at other brands.

I use it to control a lamp in my home. It was easy to set up and it works as advertised. However, it is not compatible with Apple's HomeKit.

I have owned a WeMo for 2 years or so. A while after I got my first WeMo, I got another. If you pair the WeMo with IFTTT then you have a match made in heaven. I can turn stuff on and off from anywhere. It is great!!!
