Returned - Wouldn't connect

I spent about 30 minutes trying to get it to connect--then I read the similar online reviews. I just didn't have time to fuss with it. Instead, I picked up the TP=LINK wall plug (also from Best Buy) and it worked terrific--also has full control from Amazon Echo. VERY happy with it (connected in seconds--and stays connected if you unplug (unlike the Wemo)). Get that one instead.

Not worth the money

Don't waste your money

There are a lot of factors that can cause disconnections for the Wemo Switch, it is possible that the signal between the Wemo device and your wireless network is intermittent. hard to configure

JUNK

I plugged it in and connected to my phone but it would never connect to my network! I spent over 6 hours troubleshooting, rebooting, resetting, etc. I finally took it back and Best Buy gave me my money back! Thanks BB!

Thank you for taking the time in sharing this review. How far is your WEMO from the router? You can tweak the wireless channel on your router to avoid possible interference in your network. Preferred wireless channels to use for the 2.4 GHz network are 1, 6, and 11 since they’re considered non-overlapping channels.

Could not get to work

It would find tge device and then when trying to connect to the wireless network, fail. I tried multiple units from multiple mobile devices. May be something with my wireless network but no other devices have ever had issues. I found alternative plugs.

Didn't work at all.

I wanted to be able to turn off my tv on a schedule as quite often I fall asleep with the tv on and wake up to the noise on the Screen then have a tough time going to sleep again. Oh well I'll have too try again with another product.

I can't make it work!

do not connect after a week

Too glitchy

Too restrictive

A good example is the rules, it allows you to schedule when your devices or lights will turn on. It also has an "Away Mode" feature that will be perfect if you're away from home for extended periods of time.
