The belkin router has worked pretty well for me the past month of ownership. My only complaints are that this basic model allows for very little customization or advanced configuration. While this makes setup easy, it is not even recommended that the routers userid and password be changed from the defaults. Also occasionally the router must be reset by unplugging and replugging it in to avoid loss of connectivity. Overall for $30 this is a great bargain for a very functional product!

A good wi-fi router for email and casual web surfing. Good range and easy to set up and make secure. If your needs extend to gaming or streaming movies, another router probably should be purchased.

This was my 2nd one of these. The first lasted about 3 years. I figure for the price, it was worth it. I love the easy setup and ability to manage the settings. Has a pretty good range too.

Just a matter of minutes from out of the box, set up and internet connection. East to follow instructions. Good value for the price.

Great purchase, very easy to install. I would recommend it highly to anyone in an apartment or small house. I can't comment on how it would work on multiple floors.

Bought this router for my mother-in-law. All she really needed was wireless internet and would occasionally stream music in her small home. The range seemed to be a perfect fit for a small house/apt. She would never have any need for gaming or streaming video so if you plan on doing that you may want to look at some of the models that would be a step up from this unless you are going to be hard wired. That being said, this simple router seems to work great for her needs.

My brother needed a new router but he was on a budget got this model for him as a gift easy install and setup and range is very good.

We needed a new router since old one died. Went to local BestBuy and chose this one because it wan only $30. Skeptical about performance because you get what you pay for. Took it out of the box, followed instructions and it less than 30 minutes we had wireless internet! Highly recommend this router if you're on a budget. Bottom line it works. We have our tv, bu-ray, 2 phones and a tablet connected to it. We use it for basic web browsing, emails, Netflix, and downloads simultaneously. So far so good!

If you are looking for simple setup and almost plug and play installation, this router will fit you bill. The install software will walk you thru everything for a normal, basic setup. If you are wanting to perform manual setup, not so much. You are unable to access many features that an advanced user may wish to have control over for a custom setup.

This router is a great router. After a quick set up, it was ready to use. This router seems to work better than my older router, for example if I'm playing a game on my iPad, it will connect very fast. I also like that it doesn't take up too much space. The price was great.

So far so good. Opened package had network running in less than 15 min on two computers (one wired, one wireless). Simple & easy to change SSID & password from factory settings. Wireless computer is in same room, so I can't speak as to range or quality of signal if they were farther apart. Router has been in use for a little over a month, no issues to date.

Bought it for my dorm and works perfectly. Easy setup.

This is my first router so I was impressed with the ease of setup. I live in a townhouse apartment & the range does extend to the first floor. I have had to reset 2 or 3 times- & I wish I would have gotten the next model up as it sometimes as it does tend to bog down. Not too bad for a first router. This brand was recommended to me by my computer repair person.

A friend has a similar model so I was familiar with this product when purchased. It is easy to set up. Once up and running, connect via Ethernet cable to set-up your network parameters (and security). Only downfall is that the signal drops every couple of weeks. I routinely turn the router off on Sunday evenings now to let it rest. Otherwise, does what it says on the tin and if you catch it on sale, as I did, its a great deal.

Easy to install. Just wish the connection was stronger.
