I love this product. It will boil 16oz of water at room temperature in 90 seconds. I've had none of the other problems noted in other reviews with the exception of one rather important issue. Water I boil has a distinct taste. (When I boil the same water in a pot it tastes fine) The best way I can describe it is that it reminds me of drinking water from a garden hose. Its not that bad when using the water for flavorful drinks, but I use it for tea, and it completely changes the taste of the tea. I suspected the bad taste was coming from some contact with plastic during the heating or pouring process. I found the issue can be mitigated if I leave the lid open at all times. This leads me to conclude the problem is hot water condensing under the plastic lid and/or strainer then contaminating the water. I'd like to close the lid, but it's not a dealbreaker for an otherwise excellent product, and a particularly good value.

Simple use and pretty blue light when it’s in use. Does what it supposed to do nice and easy. Would love to get another one just for a back up

I love this thing soooo much. I use to make pour overs. + after buying this, my hot tea drinking has much increased. It’s so luxurious to flip a switch and walk away, go finish getting ready for work or get ready to go bed, come back and fix my tea or coffee.
