Very easy to use! Very portable as well! Would definitely recommend!

Works excellent! It makes rice exactly as we like it! I am typically use to the smaller rice cookers and was nervous getting a bigger one would cause the rice to be burnt easier. But instead it cooks just perfect. Just like the smaller ones. Just remember to unplug it right when it is done cooking for the besy results and so the rice doesn't dry out.

As an avid cook and a frequent consumer of rice, I had high hopes for the Bella 16-Cup Manual Rice Cooker. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has left me feeling fair and far from impressed. Design and Build Quality: The rice cooker's design is simple and straightforward, with a black exterior that fits well into any kitchen decor. However, the overall build quality feels rather flimsy. The lid doesn't close tightly, leading to steam escaping during the cooking process. Moreover, the plastic materials used in its construction feel cheap and give the impression that it may not withstand long-term use. Cooking Performance: The main purpose of a rice cooker is to cook rice efficiently and produce perfectly cooked grains. Unfortunately, the Bella 16-Cup Rice Cooker falls short in this department. The cooking times provided in the manual seem inconsistent, resulting in rice that is often undercooked or, at times, overcooked and mushy. I found myself having to experiment with water-to-rice ratios and cooking times to achieve satisfactory results. Manual Operation: As a manual rice cooker, I expected some degree of control and versatility over the cooking process. However, the controls on this appliance are limited and lack precision. There is no digital display or preset options, making it challenging to keep track of the cooking progress. A simple timer or an indicator for when the rice is done would have been a significant improvement. Capacity and Cleanup: The 16-cup capacity is generous, making it suitable for larger families or gatherings. However, the actual usable capacity seems smaller than advertised, which can be disappointing for those expecting to cook large batches of rice. Additionally, the non-stick coating on the inner pot is subpar and tends to scratch easily, making cleanup a bit of a hassle. Safety Concerns: During prolonged use, I noticed that the exterior of the rice cooker gets excessively hot, which raises concerns about safety, especially if there are children around. A better-insulated design could have addressed this issue and improved the overall user experience. Final Verdict: In conclusion, the Bella 16-Cup Manual Rice Cooker falls short of my expectations. While it boasts a decent capacity and an attractive design, its inconsistent cooking performance, lack of control, and subpar build quality leave much to be desired. If you're a serious rice lover or depend on consistently cooked rice, I would recommend looking for more reliable and feature-rich alternatives in the market. For the price point, there are certainly better options available.

I've had this cooker for 2 years now. The only reason I want a new one, is because the kids scraped the bottom with a fork! And now its rusted! They don't make this version anymore. How do I select a new one?

For the price cant beat it. Good size. Cooks evenly and quick, i use it with jasmine rice. Okay, a little mushy if you uae too much water, keeps warm and lwts just say inlike this one much better than another one i got at best buy. That one the rice rotted so fast and took forever to cook.

Super handy rice cooker I enjoy the fact I don’t have to cook rice multiple times I can cook all I need at once if you entertain or your family eat a lot of rice it is a must that you buy one easy to use

If you aren't good with making rice, this may be helpful for you. Otherwise its more of a pain than anything.

Bought this for my rice loving 18 year old kid! He LOVES it! Rice done in 20 and cleanup in 2! How much better does it get for a college student? Btw: he has discovered other things he can do with it also!
