Looks good, but doesn't toast bread evenly. Don't waste your money on this toaster. Even if it is on sale for $10 on Best Buy's deal of the day. The only thing it would be useful for is a paperweight.

You have to use BIIIG FAAAT PIECES of bread or bagels - with thin slices they are falling down, stock there & you won't be able to get them back- the "design" made very tricky & burned piece of bread is sitting down & there are "special" screws (not for regular screwdriver) & you can't open bottom lid . You got what you paid... :((((

Looks nice and works well. The metal was dinged in a spot on arrival, so I wouldn't necessarily count on a perfect finish if you buy this. But it's nice nontheless and works well. It's been regularly used for the past 5 months and hasn't shown any warning signs of burning my house down yet. I bought it on sale for $20, which is a really good value for this. Knowing what it looks like and how it works, I think I'd still choose to buy it for full price (which is $30 currently.)

I was not sure how well this toaster was going to work when I open the box. It was very light but you have to remember it is just a toaster. I use it to mainly toast bread and it does that perfectly. When you push down the bread it centers it and toast it evenly on both sides. I have only toasted a bagel once it did a great job. I think the toaster was a bargain and it is worth buying if you need a new one.

I deducted a star because when I first took it out of the box, it smelled strongly of chemicals. My wife and I both thought it smelled strong like pool chemicals/chlorine. It was so bad, it made me cringe and I had to hold it at arms length. I plugged it in and set it to max and ran it through 3 cycles to burn off any chemical residue. After 3 complete cycles, it smelled better but still had that faint smell. I gently wiped the outside off with a damp cloth and ran it through 3 more cycles. Now it seems to have removed the smell. As far as toasting bread, it does a superb job but be warned, anything above number 2 on the knob, will burn regular bread. In fact at level 1, my toast is perfect and the browning is even on both sides. The crumb tray slides out easily and you can just dump it in the trash and wipe with a napkin. You don't have to turn the toaster over to access it, which is nice. The feel of it is very light compared to other toasters I've owned. The reason is all the plastic used on it. The blue sides are all plastic as well as the big button you push down. It's made to look like a stainless steel button but it's just shiny plastic. Still, it cleans off easily with a damp cloth and it's light and easy to slide back against the wall when your done. If I had to pick out one other flaw, other than the smell upon opening it, I'd say the cord could have been done better. I don't mind the shortness, It's the way they have it coming from underneath. It's hard to get the toaster to lie flat, so you have to play with the cord a bit to get it just right into the groove on the bottom, without it popping out. Overall, I'm satisfied as it's just a toaster and it does cook my bread evenly and quickly. It looks nice to guests as it sits on the counter and from a distance, it looks like metal. I realize chemicals are used in the manufacturing of the plastic sides, but surely they could figure out a way to soften that smell a little lol. Just be sure to burn it off good and I think you will be happy for the little money it costs compared to others.

This is a very stylish, efficient toaster. I love that it has a crumb tray and wider slots for bagels. Our very old toaster didn't have either. Did I mention the price was great!

Extremely affordable toaster oven that is great for toast, waffles, and bagels. Easy to clean and looks fantastic next to my other chrome appliances.

A simple, easy to use toaster. Good value for the price! The only problem I had so far is that smoke with strong plastic smell on our first try. The manual says this is normal. We tested it a couple times outside. The problem seems to go away now.

I’ve always bought inexpensive toasters but I came across this one on the Deal of the Day and got it at an awesome price. The toaster is worth every penny. It heats good. I usually use it in #1 setting and brown my bread 1 1/2 times in this setting and it perfect. I love the size of slots for when I’m using a thicker slice of bread.

Easy to use, has gluten free setting as well as bagel setting, and regular bread of muffins toast well and evenly. Easy to clean with slide out tray under for crumbs, etc. Looks good on counter with other black appliances. Overall a good buy for not too many dollars.
