    My Coffee Tastes Great!

I used to have a Melitta 12-Cup Coffee Maker until I accidentally broke my glass carafe like a dingus. As some of you have experienced, a morning without coffee can be equivalent to experiencing a traumatic event. Nevertheless, I have always stuck with Melitta Coffee Makers because they have multiple brew settings: Regular, Bold, & Robust. For lovers of really dark and strong coffee, this ability to switch between multiple brew settings is godsend! BB fortunately did not carry Melitta makers and I couldn't find one that did have those settings until I saw this beauty! Soooo I got a coffee from my local SB and picked this guy up from BB and man this was one of my best success stories in life! My coffee tastes so amazingly good now I am blown away daily! The coffee maker even comes with it's own permanent filter which is also really nice: no more buying paper filters or trying to find the right permanent filter online! It doesn't have a robust setting but it's bold setting works good enough! The only cons I can think of is that the latch for removing the top lid to access the water and coffee compartments can be a bit of a pain to get open and the glass carafe can easily spill water/coffee out when pouring. For the latch, you have to push forward the latch and lift up without a lip to pull up on-so as you can imagine it can be a bit cumbersome. Regardless of the cons, I highly recommend this coffee maker!

This is my first experience purchasing a Bella brand coffee maker and I have to say that I am very impressed. First of all, this model looks very elegant, with nice stainless steel incorporated into the design. It looks very much like much more expensive brands and, in my opinion, the best looking model at this price point. It is simple with few buttons which is great for me in that all I want to do is press a button and make coffee. I don't need complex settings of questionable value. It does allow setting for a later time, though I have not yet used this feature. This coffee maker is lighter than the coffee maker I replaced, which I like. It comes with a reusable coffee ground basket. In my photo you will see a paper coffee filter used. This is just my preference. I use paper filters because I like to have an easy way to throw away used grounds, but you don't need to use them. So in short, if you wants a truly awesome looking coffee maker (stainless steel look on black), and functions well consider this one. At the time I purchased, I found it much cheaper in store than online. I have included pictures in my review of the coffee maker in action!

This replaced a Kenmore that just up and died one morning. Anyway, I researched pretty carefully and at one point considered a Cuisinart model that had good ratings but I saw this one on sale and since it had most of the features I wanted went with it at less than 1/3 the price of the Cuisinart. I generally prefer white appliances but find coffee makers in white get stained with brown after awhile so I decided to get this one which is in black and chrome. It has the cone style filter which I prefer as I think they do a better job when you are doing only a few cups of coffee. It also comes with a permanent filter but I use filter papers instead. Unlike most coffee makers I've bought in the past, this one doesn't have a setting for 4 or fewer cups. It has no problem with 4 cups which is my typical morning allotment. I haven't tried with fewer cups but measuring the water would be tricky in that instance as the window on the side of the coffee maker starts at the 4 cup level. BTW, it would be nice to have windows on each side of the coffee maker - I'm right handed but have to fill the reservoir with the carafe in my left hand so I can easily see the water level while pouring. This unit has a "bold" setting but I'm not sure it makes much difference with the number of cups I usually brew. Programming is easy enough, brewing time is decent and, like most coffee makers these days, it shuts off after a couple of hours. When finished brewing, the clock actually shows how many minutes have elapsed since the brewing was completed. The brew pause works well and I find as long as you don't try to pour too quickly, the carafe doesn't make a mess.

I was replacing my old beat up coffee maker whose carafe i’d just accidentally broken. I took a trip to Best Buy and found this gem. This coffee maker not only looks good but also makes some great coffee. It has an included filter, and a backlit screen with time, coffee setting, etc. It’s buikt pretty solid and doesn’t feel or look cheap on my counter. I specially like that the part where the carafe lid and filter basket meet, is well designed. I’ve owned coffee units before where if the carafe wasn’t sitting perfectly, it would spill everywhere. Not with this unit! I also like that the carafe spout is designed to not make a mess when pouring coffee. PROS: - beautiful elegant design in black and stainless to match your other appliances - well designed carafe & spill-free drip design - ability to brew “bold” coffee as an option - included coffee “scoop” (it’s the little things) - great price CONS -none so far after owning for a month

I read a lot of reviews on coffeemakers and the Bella had some of the better reviews but not the warnings I would have liked to know. I like the cone shape (#4 filter). It comes with a reusable mesh filter but I found it left a thick, sludge-like substance at the bottom of my cup. My coffee is ground for a drip coffee maker. To read the water tank level you have to look at the side--I turn the machine so I can see the water level as I pour in the water. On the plus side, I have better control of where the water goes as I pour it in. It does make a loud, burbling noise as the last of the water is pumped through. And then it beeps (4 times, I think) when the cycle is complete, but not necessarily when all of the water has dripped through the coffee. I lift the water tank lid after I've turned it off to let the water/condensation dry out. Unfortunately, there are some areas that collect water and are difficult to dry. I would recommend it, but not strongly.

This is a very nice coffee maker for the price. We are very happy with all of the features, except for the permanent filter that is included. This machine uses a special size filter so you can't substitute your gold filters for this one. It has cheap plastic handles and so one of these was the first thing to break after only a few uses. If you are dumping coffee grounds, you have to be very careful not to hit the cheap plastic to hard to get them out. I called the company to see if they would replace it and was told that they don't stock those. I would have to call Best Buy and see what they could do for me. Since it was a Christmas gift, purchased in early December and no locations near where the item is being used, I haven't done anything about it. So far the coffee maker is working fine and the set up is easy. I would not buy it again because of this issue.

I've been meaning to write a review on this product- it's a simple to use no nonsense maker.. For me much much better tasting than Keurig cups 100%. I was wasting so many Keurig cups that never completely drained.. This was a smart cost effective product that works wonderfully! My biggest complaint was that the coffee scoop was supposed to have been included and was nowhere to be found. I called Bella directly-no help given at all- told me to return it if I'm not happy- called BB cs several times but not one person offered any solution. Kinda lsft me feeling badly and unimportant as a customer to either ... But I do like this.. & was surprised that best buy wouldn't/couldn't help solve something I thought was simple

I originally purchased this coffee maker based on other reviews I had read. I initially loved this product, and thought it was a steal at less than $30. Boy, was I wrong. When pouring water into the reservoir, or coffee into my cup, unless you pour at precisely the exact angle, you WILL spill water n coffee EVERYWHERE! Secondly, the basket into which the coffee drains into the coffee pot, the piece on the bottom w the spring comes off every time I clean it. Luckily, my wife has tiny hands, and she can place the cheap rubber disc over the drain tip, inside the basket. I wanted to love this product, but after only a few months, am regretting this purchase. Will be going out tomorrow to buy a new one. Piece of junk!

It brews a decent cup of coffee and has nice industrial design. I also like how the cone filters fit nicely in the basket since they have yet to collapse upon themselves. My strongest con is setting the program brew so that coffee is ready upon waking. The button to turn it on is also the same button as the bold button. I can find no way to chose between turning the bold setting on/off and setting the timer for morning. The instructions are vague on this. Also if you get it wrong there’s a wait to see if it’s actually set. Why there isn’t a separate button for each feature is beyond me.

I was in the market for a good but basic coffee maker Just one without having to navigate multiple menus, one that lets me choose my coffee or blend, one that lets me choose the quantity of coffee and water I want to use, etc. In other words, one that lets me make the decisions, not it. This coffee maker fits the bill. It has a bold setting which I like. It makes excellent, rich, deep, dark coffee for me (I tend to like the very dark blends). As I said excellent coffee, easy to make. And very reasonably priced, too. If you don't want the coffe maker to make the decisions for you, choose this one.

We had just bought a new Black and Decker machine 3 months ago, and it was a nightmare. The drip stopper didn't line up and it would overflow. I had to wedge a piece of cardboard in it to make it work. We really didn't want to buy another coffee maker, since we had just bought one, but we were tired of dealing with it. We wanted something designed well but not too expensive. We didn't expect to buy this one, but when we saw it at Best Buy, it such a good deal, we had to buy it. We love this one. It works well, everything lines up. No drips. Its a solid coffee maker for a good price. It looks and functions like a much more expensive machine. We have no complaints at all.

Very satisfied with the brewing process, itself, but design lacks a bit. There are 2 slots in the back of the coffee maker where the water is stored for the brewing process. When a full 12 cups of water is poured into the tank, the water level comes right up to the bottom of those 2 slots. If the coffee maker were to be bumped, water would come out of the back of it, spilling onto the counter. Condensation also forms under the coffee maker lid while brewing and so when you open the lid to remove the coffee grinds, the water runs down the lid and drips onto the back of the coffee maker. For the money, it does what it's supposed to do and I like that I can program it so that my coffee is ready when I walk into the kitchen in the morning.

The Bella Classic 12 Cup coffee maker is a great value, is very easy to operate, and most importantly, brews great coffee. It has a clean and very good looking design, the buttons are placed well, and serves its function. I wish it wasn't so easy to change the time, but after brewing several pots of coffee, you remember to push the button on the far right. No need to buy paper filters, because a re-usable filter comes with this machine, and is very easy to clean out. The automatic shut off is perfect if you forget to turn off the machine.

This coffee maker by Bella was great when we first purchased it...brewed coffee fast, came with a reusable filter, and is aesthetically appealing. However, after about 8 months of use, it goes down hill quickly, despite our descaling efforts. We noticed brew time for twelve cups takes almost 40 minutes now. What's more, it never stops percolating once completed. Therefore, if you purchase a new coffeemaker every 6 to 8 months, this ones for you. But if you like a coffeemaker that is more durable, purchase a different brand.

Easy to use; looks good; like the hidden power cord; small footprint. I could live without the beeping when I hit the ON button & when the brewing is done & when the unit shuts off after 2 hours. To prevent possible damage from steam, I pull unit out from underneath the upper cabinets. I did have water leak onto the counter during the initial plain-water flushing, but I take the blame for that because I forgot to put the filter basket in place; no leaking when I did it correctly.

The only reason I gave this coffee maker 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would like it to make at least 14 cups instead of 12 especially if you have a large crowd on holidays, but it brews quickly so it wouldn't be too much of an inconvenience to brew a second pot. The taste of the coffee depends on your personal taste and how many scoops of coffee you use per cup. I like a medium strong cup of coffee, so I use the bold setting and use one rounded scoop of coffee per cup. Stream line look and matches my other appliances nicely. Great price too and was shipped quickly.

I purchased and one month later it started making a super loud noise every time i would turn it on. Like your drinking from a straw with a huge hole in it. Then a few days later it was programed to automatically brew in the morning and luckily I was awake and caught it leaking before it made a bigger mess. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this item. or if you purchase it, get the geek squad protection. I didn't and have to wait for the manufacturers warranty to reply to me.

i make about 2 pots a day and this coffee maker didn't last a year. i loved it until it stopped working.i often have pots of coffee that aren't gone within the two hour heating time so i often hit the on button once or twice during the day to keep the coffee warm. i do not know if this contributed to the machine wearing out but i can't imagine what else would've caused the problem unless it is a low quality issue

When I accidentally put grounds through the water tank of my girlfriend's expensive coffee maker I was sure I was going to be spending a mint securing a replacement. I came across this find on the Best Buy website and it has everything I need without extra features that the average before work drinker doesn't want to deal with. It's got a bold setting, a timer, and an on and off switch and to boot it's a very handsome maker with a handsome pot to match. We are both very happy and Best Buy's pickup process was smooth as usual.
