Customers consistently note the electric food slicer's affordability and user-friendly design. Many appreciate its effectiveness in slicing meat. While some find it compact and suitable for occasional use, others express concerns about its noisy operation and limited power. Cleaning the slicer can also be challenging.

For the PRICE this slicer does the job it is intended for and is easy to clean. Of course it is not Deli Quality but is is a solid cast unit that will slice hard salami, cold cheese (not frozen) and roasted meats. I smoke roasts, let them cool in the fridge and slice the next day for awesome sandwiches as well as imported hard Italian salami and various cheeses.

This is my first slicer, so I'm a novice. But this slicer is pretty amazing. I read the reviews before I purchased so I knew that I needed to have my food land somewhere when slicing. Used parchment paper. Also, I used the slicer for meat, cheese, and bread. Got a loaf from Panera and it worked like a dream. Great purchase!!!

Works well for occasional home kitchen use. It comes in handy for slicing lunch meat and hams or cheeses. It makes quick work of slicing cold cuts for a family sized gathering or party. The blade cuts well and seems to hold a very sharp edge so far. It is acceptable for home use and not designed to slice meat for a whole army!

As long as you slice only meats and veggies and don't expect it to go through bones, etc.......it's fine.

Good Electric Food Slicer for the Price

We purchased this electric food slicer from Best Buy, and we've used it several times since. Although the slicer's motor is a bit noisy, it works very well. I use it on beef and turkey roasts that I've prepared on the grill. After a meal, we like to slice-up the remaining portion of the roasts for sandwiches and other leftover meals.

This slicer is great for home use. Buy blocks of cheese and chunks of ham and slice it yourself. Save money! It does take some space to put away but we just keep it in its original box and store on top of our extra fridge. Look for it on the “deal of the day”. It’s worth the money!
