Great price but weak slicer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found the Bella Meat slicer as an under-performer when using it to slice 1/4-inch pieces of roast for beef jerky preparation. The slicer slows and begins to 'whine' or emit a squealing sound after only a few minutes. Cleaning helps but the sound begins within 30 seconds. For this application, I would recommend a more powerful unit.

I have been a mgr. in the grocery business for 40 yrs. and have a tremendous amount of experience with the slicers in the Service Deli! Great deal too. I love Best Buy!

Wouldn't expect too much from it but for the $29 sale price I figured it was better than an electric knife. I would not reccomend for the $59 regular price.

Whole lunch meat is very easy to cut and you can control how thick or thin you want it. I got it on sale but it is worth regular price.
