light duty, but very useful wish it would come apart more (not just blade removal) for cleaning

This works well. It is not an industrial machine. Dont expect it to cut as fast as the big deli machines . But take your time and it slices fine . Push too hard and the motor will strain and get hot . But let the blade do it's job and cut slowly and the results are good .

Nice at home slicer. I make corned beef often and love the way this slices. Cleaning is a bit tedious but I’m sure that would be for all slicers.

This is something that is great for what it is and for what you pay. It is not a deli slicer; don't expect a $2500 experience from something 100x less expensive. But if you are not a chef or possessing of one's knife skills, and you have a chicken breast or a london broil and you want nice even slices, or you want to cut onion or pepper rings in a uniform fashion this is perfect. It actually fits in the kitchen cabinets fully assembled!

I didn't want to invest a lot of money for a slicer because I just wasn't sure how much I would really use it. When I saw this slicer as one of the online Christmas deals Best Buy offers I decided to purchase it. I realize that the slicer isn't top of line and I would like more features than this slicer provides, with that said this slicer has worked great and it gets the job done. It has worked better each time I have used it.

First I want to say the price was right. When slicing the suction cup feet do not stop the slicer from sliding on the counter which makes slicing difficult. The motor is not removable from the basic framework which makes cleaning difficult. On my old slicer the motor was removable which you could put the entire slicer , less motor, in the sink to wash it. On the plus side the slicer does a great job of slicing. The thickness adjustment works great from shaving meat to any thicknes you want and the blade is very sharp. All in all the slicer was well worth the $30 I paid for it.

This slicer works wonderfully. The blade adjusts easily and it slides smoothly for each slice. For those who like deli sandwiches, this is a must have. No need to stand in long deli lines waiting for your order. Just grab a large piece of lunch meat or cheese and do the slicing at home.

Works great, saves money by slicing my own meats. It isn't to bulky. Easy to clean and store. Great choices for thickness. Wonderful product

The slicer is small and convenient for storage. It is easy to use and you can adjust the size of the slicing easily. I have used it for beef, ham and pork and cheese. All have sliced with no problems. Meat should be cooled after cooking for better slicing. Easy to clean. No regrets! Great buy.

For slicing small to medium cuts of boneless meats and cheeses this slicer is perfect. Small enough to fit on a counter top but large enough to cut roasts and most whole cheese blocks. Also works with veggies and other deli meats. There is an easy to use thickness gauge with multiple presets - no measuring!

Pros: 1. Works great. 2. Cuts even slices 3. and is easy to operate. Cons: 1. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, takes up a lot of space on my counter. 2. It's difficult to clean. 3. It does not have a catch tray so you have to make sure you put something under the back of the slicer to catch your slices. Overall I would recommend this but make sure you have counter space to handle it or you will need to store it someplace else.

I used it on a small ham and it sliced it like I wanted. It's not a commercial version, so don't expect it to slice super fast. I just wanted a low budget slicer that gets the job done and this does it. I've only used it once and hopefully it will continue to work well.

Be prepared to clean the heck out of the blade before using it. Mine was COVERED in dollops of grease from the motor mechanism. I don't know if there's something wrong with mine or not, but the blade spins quite slowly (but still cuts just fine) compared to the gear on the inside when the blade is taken off the appliance. When the blade is off, the gear spins super fast (and the unit actually sounds like a normal appliance of this type would). But with the blade on, it chugs along like it's laboring to do so (and it also sounds like it's struggling to turn). Aside from this, it cuts through meats and cheeses with ease, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It would have been nice of them to design a "catch" on the back for the food that you're slicing. Pros: Cuts with ease. Does what it's designed to do. Super easy cut size adjustment mechanism. Blade comes off easily for cleaning. Cons: Really short power cord. Doesn't stay put very well on the counter top (via suction cup feet). Kind of a pain to clean due to compact design choices. Pretty noisy. All in all, It was worth the $30 I paid for it from a "Deal of the day". But I probably wouldn't pay more for it.

Nice and compact, fits easily into the cabinet for storage. Works great and easy to clean.

I have used the product a couple of times. It is easy to use and easy to disassemble. The instructions say you can put parts in the dishwasher so clean up should be easy but one of the parts gets a grey residue on it from the diswasher that comes off on my fingers and discolors the meat. Cleaning that part by hand is a pain because it has a lot of little spikes on it. This is annoying as the part is a food contact surface.

This is a great slicer for the price. Can cut thin slices of beef by freezing it for for 4-5 hours. The negatives are that it is difficult to clean and there is nothing to catch the sliced meat. Also, can’t push too hard against the backboard when slicing since it isn’t very rigid and will produce thicker than desired cuts otherwise.

This unit works well for meats and cheeses and harder more solid items. It works on bread, but not great, but I don't think it is really designed for really soft items.

Works really great. Bought because we slice or own cheese when we buy in bulk or lunchmeat. It also cuts summer sausage really good to.

Wasn’t looking for anything fancy just wanted to slice up tri-tip and ham for lunch meat. Did a great job very happy with my purchase!
