Spend a little more and get Better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this not expecting much but was extremely disappointed in the quality of this slicer.I used it three times to slice pit beef.You can't really slice very thin with it and clean up is a real chore.I would recommend spending a little more and get a better slicer.I have since thrown mine away

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ITEM!!!!! I definitely would not recommend this slicer!!! The motor doesn't turn strong enough to cut a log of american cheese, so I don't imagine it would cut meat!!!! The blade turns VERY slowly!!!! Also I didn't realize you have to try out small appliances from Best Buy within TWO WEEKS or you can't return them. I used mine for the first time two months after purchasing it.

get what you pay for

Didn't last

He didn't get to use it until the beginning of this year. After 2 uses, it was smoking during use; after 4 uses it died completely. He was only using it to slice boneless meat for jerky, and nothing else. It's been too long since purchase to return it. Chalking it up to a lesson learned (you get what you pay for.)

Why did I buy?

Plastic gears were stripped from the get go. Glad I only paid $30. You do get what you pay for..thats why I'm not seeking a refund.

Died after 5 months (third use)
