I got it working as I had a different brand about four years ago knew what to do already, but that one got lost/ So I poured in the first load of batter, and the joint between the waffle iron and the stand was loose so it tipped a little to the left side and some dripped out of the left side, making a mess. The iron was just loose from a poor design, not broken. Then it was ready so I opened it but the waffle was not done enough. Very rare. I had to cook them another 45 seconds longer and had to use the timer on my cell phone since this model did not have the rare/done control that is advertised so much. What a pain that was and I did not want my Tmobile cell phone to fall in the batter. One good thing is that the waffles did not stick at all and were very easy to remove. They were also delicious. I returned it and will get a different model from a different brand due to : 1. Loose lid 2. No temp control 3. No adjustable timer

I love it worked very well made very big waffles. cooks the waffles pretty fast and does not make a mess easy clean up afterwards. Surface might be hot sometimes.

Great machine at a great price. Bought this for a trip to the beach and it worked like a charm. Non-stick really was non-stick and waffles cooked perfectly.

Makes beautiful waffles. Instructions should, but don't, include proper volume of batter/waffle. First waffle was undersize and too much batter for the second one dripped all over the easy-to-clean drip tray provided. Cleaned up easily after all. We like it.

This is an excellent and quick for breakfast. Kids love to eat waffles and now we can make with many verities. We were looking something which do not take more space in kitchen and this is the one. We really love it.

This is a perfectly fine, no-frills waffle maker. I have two kids who eat waffles for breakfast almost every day during the school year. That means seven large waffles per week (the kids split one whole one) about 40 weeks per year with summer vacations. My first one lasted twenty months before either the nonstick surface or heating failed, leaving waffles too underdone in the middle to remove easily from the machine. That adds up to about 500 waffles going through the machine before failure. This item, at the time, cost 20 bucks. That's about 4 cents per waffle. I don't like "disposable appliances," but you could see a 100-dollar waffle maker die at two years of age, given the high volumes I'm putting through it. I have to add this to landfill, but better to throw out a 20-dollar item than a 100-dollar item. I bought my second one on a protection plan so, hopefully, if it dies I can get it repaired rather than replaced. In any case, you're not going to do much better than this machine at this price.

Purchased this small cute waffle maker on the Best Buy Deal of the Day. It makes perfect waffles in almost every time. Small for storage. Good waffle for breakfast and even dinner. Warm up fast and cook less than 5 minutes. Easy to clean with non stick-iron. Got it for a month and hopefully it will last for a long time
