Good for 1 or 2 people. I would recommend a bigger deep fryer for family deep frying nights. My kids prefer our bigger deep fryer. But this is a nice small fryer.

Weird odor.

Lid doesn’t shut correctly. Heats up fast . Can’t stand the smell it lets out when on and it makes me sick. I packed it up after cleaning and it sits in the box .

But aside from that good size for a small family.

The minimum line for the oil is not what you should go by--put less than. It made a terrible mess when I put oil at the minimum for first time using and the hot oil was everywhere. Once I figured that out, it fries well. I like the temperature settings which is not what you get from some deep fryers. I like the fact that you can remove the lid to wash, but you have to let everything cool down before you can take it off--it is a little difficult to get off.
