It does more than just cooking grain

The steam tray is big enough for small food portion. I used that to reheat some veggies and although it did not turn out as hot as it would from my other 6 quart Instant Pot it is adequately warm and faster. The size is good too and versatile. That was a very good purchase but for the list price of $59 there are competitive products on the market.

excellent cookware for the price

Doesn't have to spend a ton of money for the rice cooker and it works nicely and have a very nice appearance standing on a counter top with all of your stainless steel appliances.

Bottom line: A high-end rice cooker is a surprisingly versatile piece of kitchen equipment, that will save time and help make having delicious healthy meals even easier.
