I bout the white version for the kitchen and liked it so much I bought the matte black edition for the garage and to keep as a spare. Deal of the Day @ $24.99 cannot pass it up. Does an amazing job cooking JoJo potatoes and reheating food without having that gross microwave taste. Love it!!

--- SETUP --- The setup for the Bella Pro Series Touchscreen Air Fryer is as simple as plugging it in and turning it on. The cord is not detachable and the packaging is easy to remove. --- FEATURES --- The key feature of this fryer is the touchscreen interface, 1500 watt heating system, and a 3.3lbs food capacity. The heating modes include Air Fry, Roast, Broil, Bake, Reheat, Keep Warm, Pizza, and Dehydrate. --- PERFORMANCE --- The performance is as expected but I do appreciate features that some of my older air fryers didn’t have. When air frying food, I use a small amount of oil or spam spray and it is easy to clean up afterwards. The food does cook considerably faster than what’s recommended on the packaging of what you’re cooking. There’s a growing trend in food packaging that now includes the amount of time to cook items in an air fryer, and this works as well. My favorite mode to use on this new fryer is the bake mode. I don’t bake bread much, but I do like my baked pastas. Specifically, I like baked ravioli, and this air fryer is the perfect size for a ravioli meal for 2. Another function my older fryers lacked is one labeled pizza, which I see on microwaves but I never use. Here, I put in frozen pizza (that's on a half italian long bread) and it comes out crunchy and savory. --- EXPECTATIONS --- The product meets my expectations. In previous fryes, the basket that holds the food always has rubber feet that get lost. This one looks like the rubber holders will last longer before I see wear and tear. The cleaning is quick and easy if you clean immediately after your food is out. After cooking a cordon bleu, the cheese melted off onto the fryer but it didn’t stick and was easy to pick up with a fork and put it on my chicken. Simply rinse it to remove anything that might dry and you can do a more thorough cleaning later if needed. --- VALUE --- The price for the air fryer in terms of value is just right. Since using air fryers, my time spent in the kitchen has been reduced because I can get meals done quicker and that alone is worth the investment. --- APPROVAL --- I highly recommend this product for people who are amateur chef’s who need to cook food for 2 or less and like the idea of setting your food and waiting without heavy monitoring.

I have two kids who love their chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, fries and hash browns and we have an air fryer which worked pretty well but being an older model, it took a bit to warm up and sometimes the food was not cooked all the way through and sometimes took longer than expected to cook. So getting this Bella Pro series touch screen 4 Quart Air fryer was something of a blessing. We had been meaning to get a new one and this one showed up just in time for us to try out with my family. So let get to it. -Setup So there is nothing to setup on this Bella Pro Series Touch screen Air fryer. This unit comes ready to use right out of the box, you may have to remove some wrapping but that about it. The unit is extremely simple to use and comes with multiple cooking options such as Air Fry, Roast, Broil, Bake, Reheat, Keep Warm, Pizza and even a dehydrate option. All you have to do is make your selection on your cooking options, set the temp and the time and your ready to go. When the unit is finished doing its thing it will let you know that the food is ready with and audible and visual confirmation. ***CAUTION: FOOD COMES OUT HOT AND DELICIOUS*** -About the unit The Bella Pro Series Air Fryer comes in Matte Black, which looks pretty nice, and delivers a 1500-watt heating system. It offers an adjustable temperature range from 90 to 400 degrees. The cooking basket and the crisping try are dish washer safe which is a blessing, but just to be safe I placed the tray and the basket on the top rack of the dishwasher, and the unit it self is easy to wipe down. The unit is also said to consume 45% less energy than conventional ovens and heats up 50%. I will say that the preheat was much faster than my older unit and we were able to cook our food faster and was cooked evenly. The cooking basket is a also a good size. We were able to put about 2lb of fries in the fryer and cooked everything evenly. The unit does say that you can cook up to 3lb but I would recommend not to overfill it. My experience with this unit has been great. It has worked without any issues, easy to clean and even looks good. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an air fryer to check out this unit.

The Bella Pro Series 4qt air fryer is what you are looking for if you are looking to cut out some fat from your diet while making delicious meals. I am quite a fan of air fryers, and even though fat means flavor, too much fatty foods are never good for you. So, if you are like me, trying to eat healthier, or on a high protein diet, this would go a long way in helping you cook foods that meet your dietary requirements. Design: The Bella pro series 4qt air fryer is a sleek matte black compact unit with a touch screen control panel display on top. The unit allows for a wide range of temperatures from 90-400F, with automatic modes like “Air Fry” “Roast” “Broil” “Bake” “Reheat” “Pizza”, “Dehydrate” and “Keep Warm”. Personally, I prefer the manual mode for cooking but it is nice to have automatic options to at least set temperature, you can then adjust the time. The outer build quality is plastic, but the air fryer tray interior is non-stick, and critically it's dishwasher safe, as is the crisping tray. Operations; Unboxing the unit was easy, and removing the plastic tags that hold the tray down was even easier. The manual & crisping tray was found inside the air fryer basket. Using the appliance is a breeze. The touch screen controls will put you in a ballpark for temperature and time, from which you can adjust based on what the manual states, or your prior experience with these devices. By default, the unit powers on to “Air Fry” mode, from there adjusting the temperature and time is easy. Using the “Menu” button, one can switch to the other modes it offers. The controls are quite simple to use. How well does it work? Air fryers are great for cooking things that generally taste better deep-fried. However, this unique air fryer allows you to do low and slow cooking, Which means you can dehydrate food, but on the other end of the spectrum, this air fryer is capable of broiling your meats to add some color. I didn’t see the 500F option on the touch panel, but the manual states it can hit 500F in Broil. It’s a versatile appliance. So what can you do with an air fryer? Sure you can make fries and chicken nuggets, but the beauty of an air fryer is its versatile cooking ability. I use it for reheating samosas from the Indian store, or to cooking a rib-eye to perfection. The trick with an air fryer is not using a whole lot of oil, but you still have to use oil. I use avocado oil (cause it’s got a high smoke point) to rub on things like Brussel Sprouts, potatoes, before seasoning with salt and pepper. That way the seasoning sticks. You sometimes have to do that with steak, chicken, or pork too. Helps the seasoning stick, and generally, you get some oil fried like crispiness on the outside. I also make grilled cheese sandwiches, reheating burritos, and making scrambled eggs. It’s quite versatile if you use some imagination and some patience. The overall energy usage for an electric device is not bad. It’s rated for 1500W, and unlike a big oven that requires time to pre-heat, an air fryer requires minimal pre-heating (usually a minute) before it's off and cooking. I went shopping earlier and bought home some chicken drumsticks and some Brussel sprouts. Following the manual, I set the air fry to the timing and temperature as set in the manual. Halfway through I paused the air fryer, while I turned the Brussel Sprout halves to cook the other side. That said, I did notice, it wasn’t as well done as I’d like as per the manual. I did notice it took about 10% longer than what the manual said things would take, which isn’t bad. I later made some curry powder marinated chicken drumsticks, it came out quite well as the pictures show. Once again, the 10% increase in time needs to be factored in. Final Thoughts: If you are thinking, is this big enough for your family? While it’s rated for 4 qt, you can probably do 2 to 3 quarts maximum in cooking. The rule of thumb is to keep ⅓ to ½ of the sidewall height of the basket full while cooking. So given that I can do 6 chicken drumsticks, or one grilled cheese sandwich, or 10+ chicken wings, it’s comfortable for a family of 4. You should buy an air fryer, it’s an essential item in any modern kitchen. You will not go wrong with this Bella Pro series 4qt Air Fryer. Pros: Nice cooking ranges from 90-400 degrees. This can dehydrate, broil, bake, and everything in between. Compact countertop cooking Easy to clean, dishwasher safe cooking basket and crisping tray Quieter than my other older air fryer which this replaces. Cons: The outer body gets hot, and a hot exhaust vent on top Cooking time is 10% longer when tested, compared to the manual’s recommendations
