The Bella 8Qt air fryer is a staple in our home, especially when having a toddler around. We use it practically every day. It’s one of those small appliances that has found a permanent home on our kitchen counter. We use it that often. The Bella 8Qt air fryer has a lot to offer when compared with similar appliances. The 8-quart capacity is great when cooking for our entire family – we can cook whole meals without having to cook in batches as we did when we had a smaller air fryer. It’s perfect for cooking toddler-friendly foods like chicken nuggets, tater tots, and French fries, as well as cooking more complex recipes like air fryer chimichangas. Getting started with the air fryer is easy. Take it out of the box, plug it in, and technically you’re ready to go. I did give everything in the basket a good wipe down, but it still had a “new” smell that was present for the first 20 minutes or so – you may want to run it empty until this goes away. The touch screen control is easy to use once you get the hang of it. There are really only a few spots on the screen that are touch sensitive – intuitively, you want to touch the selection that you want, but in reality, only the power button, arrow keys, plus, and minus keys are touch reactive. You are scrolling through your different cooking options, not touching them directly. If your hands are wet or greasy, sometimes the buttons aren’t as responsive as you’d like them to be, but you learn to work around this quickly. One feature I thought I’d really like was the included divider – you can divide the basket in half either horizontally or vertically to keep two different foods separate. I’ve tried it both ways, and unfortunately, the food does not seem to cook as well as it does when you do not include the divider. I’m not completely sold on not using it, but I find that food just cooks faster and crispier when you don’t use it. The matte black finish looks good on our dark granite countertops, and overall, this is a conservative-looking appliance that should fit well with most décor. If you’re looking for a large-capacity air fryer, I recommend you put this one at the top of your list for consideration.

Very weak , all plastic look, not easy to clean and

We were planning on upgrading our existing air fryer to this one but it was. It as easy to use for our children and the 2 separate areas were not that big. We ended up returning to go back to our previous air fryer.

Easy to use air fryer. Intuitive touch screen reduces the learning curve. I've tried and gotten rid of other air fryers. This one is a keeper. Temp control is spot on. 8 quart capacity makes it a snap to cook for a meal for a family. Comfortable fit eight chicken legs or six chicken thighs at a time. With plenty of recipes out there, this could be a one stop kitchen appliance. However, it is on the large side. It takes up a out of counterspace real estate. Unless you have a large kitchen with an overabundance of counter space, you'll want to have a place to store it. One of the best things is that while it's large and needs space, the surrounding area does not get overly heated. I did not find a need to put it on hot pads, or raise it off the counter as long as ample space was left around it for airflow. Pre-sets are convenient and accurate for cooking. Another nice feature is the notification sound at the halfway point so you know to flip whatever you are cooking. If you're in the market for an air fryer, I Definitely recommend this one!

This air fryer has convinced me that air fryers are no longer a luxury in the kitchen but a necessity. This can do so many functions ---- roasting, baking, of course air frying, broiling, even reheating. I cooked pizza, dumplings, mozzarella sticks, even a roast chicken. The best part of this air fryer for me is how it cooks fries actually. When I go to restaurants and bring boxed fries home, they NEVER taste remotely the same ---- until reheating them in this air fryer. They taste as fresh as when I ordered them at the restaurant. It also has a divider where I cook two different items at the same time, which is something my last air fryer did not have. This makes a huge difference! The only negative I can find about this though and it is kind of significant; the plastic smell it emits is very strong and took a while to get the smell out of the house. Hopefully this is just temporary thing, but I have read other reviews that experienced the same thing. It's not a huge deal for me because the fryer still does the job good, but for anyone else, it may be a deal breaker.

For an air fryer it does its job. Paid $40 for this and that is what it is worth. Unintuitive touch screen and operation

This is my first experience with an air fryer. I really wasn't sure what to expect other than what my friends had told me. My air frying friends talked about air frying frozen foods and how great the results were. I was surprised that the recipes in the included manual were for thawed or fresh food. I chose the "8-quart" air fryer with visions of 8-quart batches of air fried food when the kids and grandkids come to town. I thought that with the included divider I could have a large batch of 2 things at once. My second surprise was that most of the recipe's state that for best results place food in a single layer, not touching... There is a statement advising against filling the bin more than two thirds full, another stating 3 cups fresh veggies max and yet another stating that fresh food should be limited to a cup and a half when air frying. This air fryer has cooking options other than air frying (roast, broil, bake, reheat, keep warm, pizza and dehydrate) which I haven't yet explored but perhaps more of the capacity is usable when not air frying. The touch screen is simple to use. After choosing the cooking mode on the touch screen a default temperature and time will appear on screen. The temperature and time may be adjusted quickly by pressing the up or down arrows. As the timer counts down it will remind you to shake the basket or turn the food as it cooks. The items my air frying friends talk about most are frozen breaded chicken, frozen breaded seafood and frozen potatoes. For my first 2 sessions I cooked frozen breaded cod fillets and tater tot-like crispy crowns. I cooked one cod fillet in the oven as a point of comparison. The recipe's I found on the internet disagreed on whether or not to add oil to the fish and the potatoes. The first batch of fish was cooked without adding oil. The breading on the air fried fillets had a much better texture than the baked in the oven fillet but was not comparable to deep fried. The second time I sprayed some olive oil on the fillets before cooking. This batch had better cooked breading than the first but again wasn't comparable to a deep-fried fillet. Both air fried fillets were much better than the oven baked fillet. The crispy crown potatoes were great being air fried without oil and even better the next time when sprayed with olive oil. I next air fried tater tots with some olive oil sprayed on. All 3 batches of these potatoes were not only comparable to the deep-fried tater tots we get at a local burger joint but much better because they are crisp all the way around. I cooked several batches of frozen taquitos. The first batch, with no added oil, were comparable to those baked in the oven. These ruptured before getting crisp as they do in the oven. The next batch included sprayed on oil. These became mostly crisp but not like they had been deep-fried. The oil added taquitos were much better than those baked in the oven. The last dish I tried was roasted new potatoes. I quartered the yellow new potatoes, sprayed with oil, sprinkled with some seasoning and air fried them. The potatoes browned up nicely and were delicious but again not the same as deep-fried. While my expectation of air frying having the same result as deep frying hasn't been met (yet?), all of the frozen food I have put in the air fryer is much better than cooking them in the oven. The frozen potatoes have been better than deep fried. The air fryer is less trouble, less messy and less expensive than deep frying. This air fryer is simple to operate and easy to clean. If I could change one thing I would have them include proven recipes for commercial frozen foods. I feel like If I wasn't having to experiment with frozen foods air frying would be a nicer experience.

Very disappointed. The box came damaged and when my daughter opened it, the handle was broken. Will never purchase from you again

Originally I had been pretty apprehensive to get on the air fryer hype train. I consider myself an above average chef, rarely use a microwave, and have an oven, why would I need another oven? Moreover I had heard people love their air fryers, but that they're a "pain to clean", or "I used it once and now it sits in my cupboard". Why spend my money on something that feels like a fad? WELL I love this air fryer, and I'm admittedly feeling childish for my previous views. This air fryer is easy to clean, easy to use, and great for everything from chicken wings, pizza rolls, to reheating leftovers. This model is intuitive, and am frequently finding reasons to use it. It is a staple appliance for me now, and if my microwave didn't come with my apartment I would have gotten rid of it. At first I was miffed that the air fryer would blink its power button when not in use, but now I just unplug it saving some extra energy. Easy to store as well if you don't want to keep it out, but at the rate I use mine I haven't found a reason to put it away. Unlike other air fryers as well, this one heats up fast, the shake feature doesn't require ANY extra steps, and seriously it is so easy to clean. It's like a non-stick pan in there.

We love it! It's perfect for 2-4 people. Easy clean up. We're learning more and more things to make. I don't think I would like to go without it. It's a nice break from traditional stove top / oven cooking. I could almost eat air fried chicken and tator tots every day!! lol

This is honestly the best air fryer I’ve ever used. This is my 4th air fryer and the best one yet! It’s so easy to use and I’ve been able to cook full meals in one time. It’s not too large! It’s just the perfect size. 10/10 recommended.

I’ve been wanting a bigger air fryer since getting a smaller model from a name brand a couple of years ago. I use mine very regularly as a way of getting things done quickly in the kitchen, so I’m pretty picky about what I wanted. Having selected this unit sight unseen, I had high hopes given its larger capacity and touch screen control display. When it arrived I quickly realized we were going to be in average territory at best. First - while larger than average, the overall quality of the unit left me missing my old one. The pull out basket is not smooth, nor is it made of the kind of plastic that gives you confidence you’re going to be OK shoving it in when it doesn’t go on its own. The touch screen - well that’s a bit of an exaggeration, since a couple of the controls are touch, but the process of switching through the various cooking modes requires pressing a button repeatedly instead of touching the actual function. Pro tip - if you want to turn off the unit for any reason, you’ll need to know that you have to hold down on the start button on the touch screen for at least 3 seconds. The fan itself will run a little while longer and then it finally shuts down. This posed an interesting exploration of the instruction manual because it wasn’t obvious to me how to shut it off. For cooking - it did a pretty decent job with the few things I’ve thrown at it so far. The basket design doesn’t lend itself to piling anything in, which makes me wonder what the point of the added capacity is. Ultimately I’d call this an average air fryer for an average family. I may or may not be pulling my old one back out from under the counter before long.

i love this air fryer. ive had it a couple weeks now but its huge and spacious I can cook for my family of 4 in it. its easy to clean compared to my last one and love the many cook options such as the air fry , bake , dehydrate , broil etc.

What’s in the box. 8-quart air frier Crisping tray Divider Instruction manual. The Bella Pro Series 8 Quart Air Fryer has a touchscreen display. There are eight preset menu options. Air Fry, Roast, Broil Bake, Reheat, Keep Warm, and Dehydrate. These are selected by pressing the menu button until the correct option flashes. You can also select the required temperature and time manually by selecting the up and down arrows for each. The air fryer comes with a short power cord; a longer cord can be ordered is needed. The basket comes with a crisping tray and divider. This unit also has a turn feature that will tell you when it's time to turn the food in the air fry, Roast, Broil and Bake modes. The unit has non-slip feet and a warning in the manual about Plasticizers migrating to the finish of counter tops and tabletops. Cleanup is a breeze as the Basket, crisping tray and divider are dishwasher top rack safe. I would recommend the Bella Pro Series 8 Quart Air Fryer to family and friends.
