This Bella Pro Series AirPro XL 9-in-1 Grill is aptly named. Bella consolidated nine (9) different functions into this unit, quite an accomplishment for a fryer this size. While it is wider and heavier than my older fryers, it is still light enough to lift and store. I measured it from side-to-side and it measured 15.5” across. This unit will Air Fry, Grill, Roast, Broil, Bake, Sauté, Sear, Pizza and Dehydrate. It puts out 1,760-watts of power and has 510-degrees heating capacity. It comes with a 12” x 12” grill grate, a 5.8-qt air fryer basket, a grilling plate, a baking rack, and a 9-qt cooking pot for larger meals. Selected components are dishwasher safe. Further, they have what they call a cool air zone that ensures a smoke free kitchen when grilling. I’ve used multi-function air fryers in the past. After failing to successfully cook dinner entrees like steaks and fish to our satisfaction, we primarily used these older fryers for cooking vegetables, fries, and other small accompanying dishes. Limited to that, the resulting dishes would always be satisfactory. With my older fryers, I found that cooking steaks – for instance – would not result in the juicy, tender steaks we’re used to when grilling outside. Just flipping the steaks over halfway through the cooking process was an effort. I would have to physically remove the steak from the fryer – dripping juices along the way - in order to flip the steak over because the fryers are too small. After the cooking was complete, the steaks rarely were to our liking. That said, my first cooking attempt with the Bella was to grill a steak. First, I placed the grilling plate inside the cooking pot. Pressing the Grill button, I set the timer for 10 minutes and the temperature to 500 degrees. Unlike other air fryers which want you to manually pre-heat the units prior to actual cooking, this Bella handles the preheating for you. When the preheating cycle completes, the Bella beeps and shows a message to “Add food”. Once I placed the steak on the grilling plate and closed the lid, the cook cycle automatically starts and runs for the specified 10 minutes. The Bella recipe instructions recommend flipping the steak five minutes into the ten-minute cycle. Pressing the lid-open button automatically pauses cooking. With the lid up, it is super easy to access the steak to flip it over. Once I flipped it over, I added additional seasoning and closed the lid. When the lid was closed, the cooking automatically resumed. I mean it, the steak was cooked perfectly - as good as cooking on our outside grill. Our second cooking effort was a salmon recipe. Instead of using the grill plate, this recipe uses the air fryer basket and the Air Fry Convection mode. The recipe recommends cooking the salmon for 10 minutes at 390 degrees, but to pause cooking at 8 minutes to check for doneness. Our salmon was pretty thick, so we ended up having to use the whole 10 minutes. Just like the steak, the salmon was cooked perfectly! One feature of this unit is to cook pizzas. Now, we don’t normally cook pizzas at home, be it fresh or frozen. Nor do we dehydrate foods. So, I can’t speak to how well those features work. But we do cook fish, steak, chicken, pork and others. I’m happy to say that that the roasting and baking functions worked darn well, too. With a 9qt cooking pot, we plan on cooking a roast in the next few days. And at 9 quarts, it is quite possible that this will replace our existing crock pot. We are very happy with this unit. It is easy to use and clean, and it comes with all needed accessories. And an added bonus: this unit is super quiet! This Bella 9-in-1 has earned itself a 5-star rating.

A Must Have For My Kitchen

The Bella Pro Series – 9-in-1 Indoor Grill is quickly becoming one of my favorite cooking methods in my kitchen. I got it thinking it was mostly an air fryer, and it certainly is, but it can do so much more. This may be a must have for any kitchen. The first thing you notice is this thing is big. The unit itself is about 16” long by 18” wide by 12” high. So if you don’t want this unit to be constantly on your counter, you may need to make sure you have somewhere to put it when it isn’t being used. But this size it so nice because you have a large cooking area to use. It is a bit of a trade-off, but it is worth it. As I said, I got this thinking it was more of an air fryer. And it works great in this respect. The controls are easy to use and the basket to cook in are great. If you like air fryers, the food will be the same. The nice thing though with this system is the temperature range goes a bit higher if you need it which I really liked. This machine does much more too. You have so many options available. There is air fry convection, grill, broil, sauté, sear, pizza, and dehydrate. The great thing too is there is a mini cookbook that is included with the unit. I haven’t tried them all yet, but the pictures look incredible. I really love the pizza feature. The cooking surface is about 12 inches by 12 inches, so it works well for most small to medium pizza. I used it to warm up leftovers and it worked great. No more microwaving cold pizza for me. The grill feature also works great. The last time I tried to cook hamburgers in my house in a skillet, I had smoke and grease spattering everywhere. Now with the grill feature on this, I don’t worry about that. And the burgers turn out great. I like them better with this machine than I did one the skillet. I also like them better than the outdoor grills I have used in the past. There is not much this unit cannot do in the kitchen. It is utterly amazing. I like cooking a little bit more with this. I highly recommend the Bella Pro Series 9-in-1 Indoor Grill to anyone who likes to grill or use an air fryer. But after you get it, you may even like experimenting with everything else this can do. That is why it is my new favorite item in my kitchen.

This has been a perfect addition to my kitchen arsenal. I love the all-in-1 versatility although the indoor smokeless grill is what drew me in. It’s been easy to use and has made making quick and healthier meals a snap. Cleanup is super easy also. It’s big enough to handle cooking for my family of 4 with ease so I think size wise it would fit most users needs. Overall I definitely think this is something worth giving a try. It’s too early to say how long it will last of course but I suspect this will be going strong for a long time.

This air fryer means serious business. Solidly built, decent heft - in part to sustain the air fryer top, and a suprisingly large cooking area, this really deserves the name "grill". It can do everything my countertop electric grill can, and then some. About the only thing it can't do is leave grill marks on your food. Though when you have the ability to prepare a pizza outside your oven, perhaps grill marks are overrated? The second thing you notice after wrestling this out of the box is the interface - a small screen and numerous buttons. This is not your typical grill or air fryer. You've got various cook modes (broil, saute, sear, pizza, and dehydrate), cook, bake, and roast, and a temperature and time selector. I'll admit, I couldn't just toss some fries in. This actually makes you go hmm, let's really check out those air fryer recipes and take a peek at the instructions. On this one, you set your temp, let it warm up, then insert food when prompted with feedback onscreen the entire time. So, add some oil in the basket, lightly toss my fries while the Bella pre-heats, then 20 minutes later, crispy deliciousness. So that down, I just had to try out pizza mode. I'm guessing just like the first popcorn button on a microwave resulted in a uptick in home made popcorn, I just had to try out the feature specifically geared to a specific food. Here, we run into the rare adjustment to be made for size. Almost everything you'd normally think about tossing in an air fryer or grill fits in here, but my pizza did push the envelope. In fact, after my initial attempt with a fully pre-made one, I ended up going for a more hands-on approach, assembling the pizza inside the fryer basket. And it did a decent job. The pizza was a bit overdone, in part because everything cooked evenly versus having a differential between the top and bottom. Definitely an aspect to experiment more with. So, my first pizza attempt was a bit messy. But, this gave me an opportunity to see how difficult it would be to clean. For me, getting things to the sink was the tricky part. But then it wiped up really well. That coating is amazing - and a necessary feature. Now that I know, I can mostly clean away from the sink, saving that workout for a less frequent schedule. If I had a complaint, I think the only place the Bella, ironically, doesn't hit top ratings is with looks. This is a great tool, easy to use, clean, and gets the job done efficiently, but it is not at home in a super stylish kitchen. It's definitely there to do work, which in some respects can be a good thing.

Air frying is relatively new for me, but I'm in love with it. This oven gets used constantly, primarily to cook potatoes, but we also do chicken and other things with it. I wash the cooking trays a lot, and the finish isn't coming off. It's big enough to cook enough for about four people, and the shelves are adjustable. Well constructed and designed, it will see many years of use in my home. It's perfect if you want a less greasy eating experience. It took me a little while to get used to the front control panel but other than that I have zero complaints.

This Belle Pro air fryer/grill is incredible. This is literally an all in one cooker that's big enough for a family of 4. The grill is incredible and its great to be able to grill in my home during the winter.
