Customers consistently note the sturdiness and ample storage space of this A/V cabinet, along with its attractive appearance and good value for the price. Many appreciate the cabinet's style and size, finding it suitable for their needs. However, some customers found the assembly process, particularly attaching the glass doors, challenging.

Is the stand is darker than it appears in the pictures online. There wasn't a display model in the store so I discovered the color issue upon opening the box at home. Found three defective parts so I ended up taking it back to the store and getting another stand.

Great Product - looks fantastic, well made

The cabinet came well packaged with very easy to follow directions. It is basically a no tools required product. Although, the last step of putting the doors on took patience and a screw driver. I had to take the hinges off the door and reattach to the cabinet first. At that point it took a few attempts at adjusting the hinges (two screws - that need to be adjusted in/out on each hinge) to get the doors to hinge straight and close properly. Once everything was adjusted they work perfectly. Worth the effort. I can tell that this piece of furniture was designed well with an attention to details.

Great product; doors are AWFUL to install

Great product; very sturdy and holds all components that are needed. Assemble was not too bad except to get the doors on. I ended up having to walk away from the doors. It appears that you should just slide and snap them into place but I can not figure it out. So currently we have a doorless tv stand.

This is a solid piece of furniture a furniture and looks great. Overall I will say it is a good value. The assembly was easy until the last step of installing the doors. We spent HOURS trying to attach the doors according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Finally, my husband called a handy friend who also happens to work for Best Buy. The friend removed the hinges and plates from all parts, connected the the hinges with the plates and then reinstalled the hinges to the door and then installed on the unit. This process took about 20 minutes. Had the hardware been included unattached with instructions on how to install, it would have saved us a few hours.

Beautiful Piece of Furniture

You would never know that this stand was something that had to be put together. The height is perfect (it is hard to find stands at a decent height) and the quality of the materials is outstanding. I decided to have the Geek Squad put it together and it was worth it. They did a fantastic job. They delivered it, had the stand put together in about 50 minutes, removed all of the packaging and the result is a solid, beautiful piece of furniture, with doors and drawers that work perfectly. Back in my younger days I used to put things together, but after this experience, I would gladly pay to have the Geek Squad do the work. This stand is an attractive, solid and well made piece of furniture. There was no damage to any of the pieces as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Definitely worth a five star review.

Overall Great Piece of Funiture

This TV stand looks absolutely amazing. Blends well with my contemporary furniture. Set up was easy and took about an hour with the help of a friend. There is one drawback to this TV stand; the doors. The doors took about 45 minutes to figure out how to attach them. I didn't want to take the hinges off and in the end I didn't have to. Also, once I placed all of my electronics in the cabinet the doors no longer closed automatically. They stay open about 3 inches after they attempt to close themselves. I noticed the floor model did this as well. I will try to adjust them and see if that fixes the problem. Overall a great piece and I recommend it to anyone looking to get a sturdy nice looking TV stand.

Great look, TERRIBLE build!!

I had my eye on this stand for a while. A year almost. I searched a lot and even checked it out in store before purchasing. When I made my purchase I took it home and started to assemble it. Everything was good up until the end. you HAVE to unscrew the hinges on the inside, attach to the glass doors then screw back into the stand. The problem I had is that when I did this, it didn't matter because the pre-installed holes they made are centimeters off of where they need to be. How does this happen?? When I screwed the doors back in they wouldn't close at all, and this is putting them back EXACTLY where they were before. I had to screw new holes (no drill mind you) a couple centimeters toward the edge of the stand to get the doors to close. After a hour doing this, when I put my drawers in the middle the tracks on the right side are too far away!! Are you kidding me!? This is a $400+ stand right?? IDK what to do. If I open the drawer every so slightly fast it will fly off the track. This has to be the worst easiest stand I've every put together in my life. I mean, the materials a top quality and it doesn't "look" cheap or feel cheap but whorever did the preinstalling for the screws needs to be fired, seriously. For a stand at this price there shouldn't be stupid issues like this and judging by other reviews I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm half tempted to take it back and try for another but I have a feeling they all came off the assembly line like this. Now I see why the stand was built happy in the store (I gave it the benefit of the doubt because i guessed hundreds of people had been playing with it). Even the guy who put it together didn't know what to do. I'm really upset with the stand. It looks great but every time I open that drawer (which I do a lot because I have games in there) it falls off the track and the glass doors close but not 100% close. I feel like the manufacturer should send a new one and have someone build it so they can see how faulty it is. Besides those issues, it holds my receiver, xbox one, ps4, cable box all very well. It'd be a 5* if it wasn't for the lazy pre-installs. I's recommend to a friend but with a warning of course.

A Bit Pricey at Full Retail For What You Get
Posted .

Let me start of by saying that overall I am satisfied with this purchase. But that is easier to say since i bought it at a very deep discount. I would not pay the asking retail price for it.
The tv stand looks really nice from the front. I assumed it was all wood when i saw it in the store but found when i was assembling it that some of the larger pieces appeared to be particle board and some of the smaller pieces were plastic. The bottom shelf piece was cracked and a bit splintered in the back. I decided it was not major enough and not visible from the front so i kept it.
I would have to say that putting it together was pretty easy for the most part but you will definitely need help as its not a small piece of furniture. I will agree with other reviewers that attaching the doors with the latches they have was very difficult. I think for some folks it might be impossible. on one side i had to bend the latch piece on the cabinet outwards so that it would have a big enough opening for the latch hooks on the door to actually be able to fit. I think this might have been because when they install the latch on the cabinet at the factory that they are using power tools and they fasten it down too hard which reduces the size of the hook slot. On the other door i had to take that latch off the cabinet, attach it to the door latch and then screw the cabinet latch back in with the door already attached.
If the door latch had not been problematic I might have given this a 4 star. I recommend it with the caveat that you might need to muscle through attaching those doors the way i had too.

Very Nice Stand

Just bought this stand to replace a very old stand. Assembly took about an hour as I did it alone (manufacturer recommends 2 persons-gets heavy as pieces start to come together). Instructions reads "no tools needed", not true, you need a Phillips head screwdriver and something to help lock fasteners (I used the back of a hammer). Need two people to move once it's fully assembled
Component spaces are very roomy to allow air flow and keep equipment from overheating. Also, if your TV is wall mounted, you have extra space on top to place needed items or décor.
Well made piece of furniture, my wife loves it and so do I. Five stars because I caught it on sale, $80 off.

Quality Stand

I agree you do need a screwdriver for placing the doorhandles on but that's no biggie. I bought it primarily because I wanted to get a soundbar for the TV I'm going to buy only cause I can't setup 5.1 or 7.1 in the living room cause it would be a pain and I loved that it had that opening below the top which is perfect for a soundbar. I bought this just before thanksgiving when it was on sale for $349 which I think was a good value for it....It's a good quality. I haven't had issues with scratches yet and I got 3 little kids so lets hope it doesn't

Horrible to Construct, Solid Overall
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
There is nothing wrong with the construction of this cabinet, however putting it together was an absolute nightmare. It is technically tool-less, but I'd rather just have screws because the fastening system is horrible. Pieces wobble, making it hard to put together accurately and feel ridiculously flimsy until the bottom and top are together, which are two of the last parts. The drawers and doors are also unreasonable difficult to construct correctly, so I hope you have a partner to help and a lot of patience. If you're up for the challenge, go for it, otherwise I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

Poor construction, came damaged, not worth $

Several areas disappointed
Several pieces were damaged during shipping, but only minor
1 piece clearly did not fit, the divider in the top open area....it isn't tall enough to connect to top and bottom even though it has the connections in place
The non-tools aspect is as bad as you can imagine. It uses little flip hooks to tighten pieces. First, some of these are very difficult, and even if you are on the strong side, you've still only got access to the flip hook with a portion of your finger. Even if hooked, these items are only retained by some kind of glue, so they won't really hold together if force is put in an unintended direction. As example, once assembled, I wanted to slide the unit into place, but pulled up just slightly as I was pushing the unit and the top hooks gave way such that the top came partially off. I pushed it back down into place, but still a poor way to hold a unit of this price together.
If you want junk that may or may not look ok (depending on shipping condition), good luck on assembling this item.
