    Mixed feelings

So, the finished product here is actually quite nice. It is solid and looks great. It is however brought down considerably by the assembly. The bulk of the assembly is actually quite easy and there isn't too much to it. The final step though of attaching the doors to the unit is terrible. The instructions seem to say the right thing, but it just didn't match up. I spent 30 minutes or so on one side while my son worked on the other. We couldn't get it to work and finally my son took the hinge parts fully off the inside of the cabinet, attached it to the door and then screwed the whole thing back on. It was a headache that it didn't work as expected and that we had to find a different way to get it to work. This much frustration lowered the unit from a 5 to a 3. And trust me, I have assembled many home furnishings and similar products, this wasn't my first rodeo.

Easy to put together until you get to the doors.

This is a decent piece of furniture, says no tools needed, which was true until I got to the doors. Other than that I'm satisfied, looks great with my tv sitting on top of it.

    Cheaper price in store

I found this online clearance priced under $350.00 but thought is was still overpriced. I went into the local store and looked at the floor model. It is a decent size and has a good build quality, but it's not going to last 20 years or longer like more expensive units. I found it to be suitable for my needs but asked the salesperson if they would knock the price down another 10%. When he scanned the SKU the unit was $50.00 less than the clearance advertised price, which also was better than the 10% off I was asking. I purchased it. My unit was simple to assemble but some of the hardware in the locking mechanisms were fragile junk, especially in the assembly of the two drawers. Two of the posts in the locking system snapped as I was locking them into place. The drawers are unusable until I find some brackets to pull the drawers back together. In all though it is a solid buy at $295.00 after tax.

Great TV STAND, had difficulty building though.

Finally finished building it. It actually took 4hours by myself. Even though it says no tools necessary, a Phillips screwdriver would be nice to have. Problems I ran into was with the glass doors which wasn't an easy task. Overall, I'm quite patient and rarely give up when building furniture of this size. Maybe having a friend help would have helped because I made some personal errors which messed up some of the internal levers. Quality of TV STAND. AMAZING! This ain't no Walmart/Target cheap brand, it looks amazing with my wood floors. It'll raise your TV to a good viewing angle, enough ventilation to keep your devices cool. Overall the product is amazing and worth the steep $330 price tag. But given its elegancy, is a deal. Buy a friend lunch and you both should be done in half my time. Plus have fun putting in all your components!!!

    Worst cabinet ever purchased

Purchased this cabinet for my tv brought it home opened it and two pieces on doors were broken. Return it to Best Buy side note this thing is super heavy and not very easy getting in and out of car. Order a second one waited a week and picked it up opened it inside the store to make sure it wasn't broken keep in mind there are a lot pieces we looked at few and seems to be ok brought it home and after removing all the pieces from box yet again 2 more pieces broke. Returned again and got my money back and will probably never buy any sord of furniture at Best Buy again. In conclusion I would only get electronics at Best Buy and will definitely stay away from anything that requires assembly at home.

    Absolutely unacceptable for the price

This was delivered today and I wish I had paid for Geek Squad assembly, because they would have given up and taken it back. The build started off quite smooth, until it was time to slide the "fake wood" back piece into the stand... and I realized the slot that this slides into was off by 1/4 inch on one side. This threw the whole rest of the process off because now nothing on the back of the unit lines up. Then came the drawers, the top drawer requires force to open and close while the bottom drawer seems fine. Finally, the doors. I still cannot get the doors installed!! The hinges seem to need to latch onto the unit somehow, according to the picture book they call instructions. I cannot get this to work, so now I have two gaping holes where doors should be. I would have been better off buying a much, much cheaper stand from Walmart. I absolutely, 100% regret this purchase.

    Strong sturdy design

This stand has by far exceeded my expectations. The foam packaging kept everything safe and scratch free so the mess that it causes is well worth it in the end. The set up required only a screwdriver (Phillips) to install the door handles the rest out the stand connects by way of a clever latching system that is surprisingly very sturdy. The material most importantly is not some cheap particleboard so i expect this stand to last the test of time.

    Issues with Assembly

I would have to say that this product does indeed look good once you have it assembled. After I started building it, I found that one of the sides did not have the pre-installed latches. Off to Best Buy I go for a second trip. They tell me to call the manufacturer. I don't think so! It took some threats of cancelling my entire $3500 order for this piece of furniture before they would replace the defective part. After I install the new piece, things were looking good until you get to the doors. I would say if you get all the parts it will take you about 30-40 minutes to build the stand and then maybe 3 hours to get the doors on! The hinges are horrible. I took them completely off the doors and the cabinet as they were "pre-installed", forced them to lock together and then screwed them back (tip: screw to the doors first then the cabinet). I got this tip from reading the reviews on this site. The missing parts and the stupid hinges earned this product 2 stars. As one of the reviewers said, I too have assembled a fair share of furniture, this was not my first rodeo either! If you don't mind spending the money - have the Geek Squad set it up for you. Having said that, the unit is solid and looks very nice.

Took about 3 hours to assembly by myself. Great height under my wall mounted 62 inch. My favorite is the soft close feature on the doors. I was afraid of the glass in the doors breaking because of my rough children. It's perfect.

Decent looking tv stand for the price

We got one of these last weekend and put it together in an afternoon. It looks sturdier than it is but should be fine for holding the tv and other components. The instructions were pretty good. The only real issue is one of the corners on the top was crunched when we took it out of the box. We emailed the mfg to see if they would ship a replacement part. We will see.

    Difficult to assemble

This stand is difficult to assemble especially attaching the door hinges to the base. Don't know what it would cost to have Best Buy assemble but I would have them do it if I was to buy another of these. It would be easier to use screws and bolts to assemble rather than the method they designed. All in all, the unit looks good once completed.

    Cheap Particle Board that bowed

Title pretty much says it all. The quality does not match the price. Assembly wasn't too bad, but in the end, the material just isn't good. It bowed in the middle in just a couple months time, and now has a noticeable sag, causing the side doors to be out of alignment.
