This film should be watched by everyone. I'm assuming a lot of the younger crowds might get bored by it, but anyone that's able to sit through a 3 hour film, mostly dialog driven, then please do yourself a favor and watch it. It's a classic epic for a reason, and will be on the top of most movie lists for a long time.

It is amazing they made a movie this old look superior to most movies made today. The colors pop and everything is crisp. As far as plot goes? It's Ben Hur. One of the greatest films ever made. What else is there to say other than it looks and sounds awesome.

The reason I bought this movie because I never had a chance to see the whole movie till the end since my uncle didn't allow me too, because I was too young to see it. but I did purchased it and enjoy very much to add for my collections

These movies have been in my family for years. I had missed placed them in a move. They are wonderful to watch and very uplifting and spiritual. Thank you for having them available and in good quality.

DAAAMMMN!! My boy Charlie Hezzie tears it up!! Fightin, Chariot racing, HELPING THE MAIN MAN J-CHRIST WITH THE CROSS!!! My brain was like KABLAAAAAMMMWHAT? also digital restoration and extra features on the Bluray are pretty tight

Heston could do no wrong in any movie......the effects were spectacular for this time in movie making and even with the remakes today it doesn't come close to his acting skills!!

I first watched it when I was a little Kid. After so many years it still makes my heart beat and get the Gospel messages.

If you like classic movies, then this should be near the top of your list. The chariot race scene is worth the price of the movie itself. It is a long movie at over 4 hours.

Owned dvd but the Blu-ray was worth the purchase. Great video and audio does the movie justice.
